The 2022 Classic Lorient Agglomération–Trophée Ceratizit was the twenty first edition of the Classic Lorient Agglomération, previously known as the GP de Plouay. It was the twentieth round of the 2022 UCI Women's World Tour and was held on 27 August 2022, in Plouay, France. Teams 141 riders from 24 teams started the race. Each team has a maximum of six riders. 86 riders finished the race within the time limit. 2022 UCI Women's World Tour
The 2022 UCI Women's World Tour is a competition that includes twenty-five road cycling events throughout the 2022 women's cycling season. It is the seventh edition of the UCI Women's World Tour, the ranking system launched by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in 2016. The competition will begin with Strade Bianche on 5 March, and finishes with the Tour de Romandie Féminin on 9 October. Events The race calendar for the 2022 season was announced in June 2021, with twenty-four races initially scheduled – up from eighteen that were held in 2021. In September 2021, the Tour de Romandie Féminin was added to make a total of twenty-five races. The two Chinese races were cancelled in June 2022, making a total of twenty three races. Grace Brown (born 7 July 1992) is an Australian road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . Brown competed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. She just missed out on a medal in the women’s time trial, finishing fourth. She also competed in the women's road race where she came 47th. Career 2015-2018 seasons Brown started cycling in 2015 after previously being involved in running. She started 2018 riding for Holden Team Gusto Racing. She then joined British UCI team for the latter part of 2018 season after being selected as the recipient of the Amy Gillett Cycling Scholarship. Her first race for was the Tour of California, a UCI Women's World Tour event, that was held in mid-May. 2019-2020 seasons Brown joined the team at the start of the 2019 season. Plouay
Plouay (; ) is a commune in the Morbihan department in Brittany in north-western France. Plouay hosts the GP Ouest-France and the GP de Plouay, annual cycling races (a men's and women's race, respectively). It was also the location of the UCI Road World Championships in 2000. The Tour de France has visited this town three times: in 1998, 2002 and in 2006.
