2022 Campeonato Paraibano
The 2022 Campeonato Paraibano de Futebol is the 112th edition of Paraíba's top professional football league. The competition is scheduled to start on 3 February 2022, although dates beyond the first phase are not yet fixed due to potential clashes with 2022 Copa do Nordeste and 2022 Copa do Brasil. Campinense are defending champions, after winning the 2021 final against Sousa. Format The competition is divided into a number of stages; a group phase, a repechage, a semi-final, a final and a third-place play-off. In the group phase, the ten teams are divided into two groups of five, and play the other teams in their group home and away. The teams finishing top in each group qualify directly for the semi-final. The teams finishing bottom of each group are relegated to the second division. 2022 Copa Do Brasil
The 2022 Copa do Brasil (officially the Copa Intelbras do Brasil 2022 for sponsorship reasons) was the 34th edition of the Copa do Brasil football competition. It was held between 22 February and 19 October 2022. The competition was contested by 92 teams, either qualified by participating in their respective state championships (70), by the 2022 CBF ranking (10), by the 2021 Copa do Nordeste (1), by the 2021 Copa Verde (1), by the 2021 Série B (1) or those qualified for 2022 Copa Libertadores (9). Atlético Mineiro were the defending champions but they were eliminated in the Round of 16. Tied 1–1 on aggregate, Flamengo defeated Corinthians 6–5 on penalties in the finals to win their fourth title. As champions, Flamengo qualified for the 2023 Copa Libertadores group stage and 2023 Supercopa do Brasil. Patos is a municipality of the state of Paraíba in the Northeast Region of Brazil. It is classified by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics as a sub-regional center A. Ranielle Damaceno Ribeiro (born 25 August 1979) is a Brazilian professional football coach, currently the head coach of Ferroviário. Career Born in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Ribeiro was a futsal player for hometown sides América de Natal and ABC before retiring. He later became a fitness coach at his last club, being also an interim manager on several occasions between 2011 and 2017. Ribeiro was definitely appointed manager of ABC on 29 November 2017, for the ensuing campaign. He was dismissed on 13 May 2019, and took over Lagarto on 24 October of that year. Gerson Luiz Gusmão (born 8 May 1974) is a Brazilian professional football manager and former player who played as a left back. He is the current head coach of Caxias.
