Gerson Gusmão
Gerson Luiz Gusmão (born 8 May 1974) is a Brazilian professional football manager and former player who played as a left back. He is the current head coach of Caxias. Career Born in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, Gusmão played as a left back during his career. Known as Gerson during his playing days, he represented Pelotas, Blumenau, Novo Hamburgo (three stints), Esporte Clube Palmeirense, Santa Cruz-RS, Glória, Associação Esportiva Sapiranga, São Gabriel and Brasil de Pelotas. In 2007, one year after retiring, Gusmão returned to Novo Hamburgo and was appointed manager of the under-17 squad. He worked with the under-19s in 2009, being later appointed Paulo Turra's assistant at the main squad; after the manager's dismissal, he acted as an interim. Floresta Esporte Clube, simply known as Floresta, is a football (soccer) club from Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil. Founded in 1954, it currently plays in the Campeonato Cearense Série B and Campeonato Brasileiro série C. The Copa Federação Gaúcha de Futebol, commonly known as the Copa FGF, is an annual cup competition organized by the Rio Grande do Sul state football federation for clubs that are in the first, second and third divisions of the Campeonato Gaúcho. It is held in the second half of the year and usually clubs participating in the higher levels of the Campeonato Brasileiro do not participate with the first team squad, using his academy. The 2022 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C was a football competition held in Brazil, equivalent to the third division. It began on 9 April and ended on 8 October 2022. Paulo César Turra (born 14 November 1973), known as Paulo Turra, is a Brazilian football coach and former player who played as a central defender. He is the current manager of Portuguese club Vitória de Guimarães. Playing career Born in Tuparendi, Rio Grande do Sul, Turra started playing football with local side Caxias, making his first team debut in 1991. In 1997, he moved on loan to Série A side Botafogo, but only featured rarely.
