The 2022 British Superbike Championship season was the 35th British Superbike Championship season. The title was won by Bradley Ray Bradley Ray (born 16 May 1997 in Ashford, Kent, England is a British motorcycle racer. After winning the 2022 BSB Championship, for 2023 Ray is contracted to ride in European rounds of World Superbikes. In November 2020 Ray joined the OMG Ra .... The British Superbike Championship (BSB), currently known for sponsorship reasons as the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, is the leading road racing superbike championship in the United Kingdom, and was once widely acknowledged as the premier domestic superbike racing series in the world. The championship is managed and organised by MotorSport Vision, who also own many of the circuits the series meets at. The Series and Race Director is Stuart Higgs, with event marshals provided by the Racesafe Marshals Association. The series typically races over twelve rounds from April to October, with the series concluding in a three-round 'Showdown,' where the top six riders are awarded points based on their podium finishes from the previous nine rounds and then compete over three rounds and seven races for the title. Esteve "Tito" Rabat Bergada (born 25 May 1989) is a Spanish motorcycle racer. He is best known for winning the 2014 Moto2 World Championship. Rabat then made the move to MotoGP in 2016 and spent five full-time seasons there, before moving to the Superbike World Championship in 2021. Rabat suffered serious leg injuries in August 2018 after falling in heavy rain during practice for the British round at Silverstone. He was hit by a closely following out-of-control machine. Peter Hickman
Peter John Hickman (born 8 April 1987 in Burton-upon-Trent) is an English professional motorcycle racer and business owner for preparation of racing machines. For 2021, he competed in the British Superbike Championship class aboard a BMW M1000RR, initially with superbike teammate Xavi Forés for new team FHO Racing, formed from some elements of Hickman's old team Smiths Racing, which closed at the end of the 2020 season. He continued with the same team during 2022. Hickman started TT racing in 2014. He won two in 2018, three in 2019, followed by four in 2022, following the resumption of TT racing after two years of no Isle of Man TT events during COVID-19 travel restrictions. James East (motorcycle Racer)
James East (October 7, 1871 – June 23, 1940) was a politician and labour activist in Alberta, Canada. He was for a time and the longest-serving alderman in Edmonton's history, and was a defeated candidate at the provincial and federal levels. He was also an ardent monetary reformer. Early life East was born in Bolton, Ontario on October 7, 1871. At the age of thirteen, he began to work in sawmills and farms. He took up prospecting and travelled the English-speaking world at it, going from South Dakota (in the Black Hills region) to New Mexico and Colorado, and then spending time in New Zealand and Australia. Dean Harrison (born 24 January 1989) is an English professional motorcycle racer. He has won 3 Isle of Man TT Races, and has 26 podium finishes as of July 2023.
