The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards was a recognition ceremony that was held on October 4, 2022, as the 17th installment of the BET Hip Hop Awards. The nominations were announced on September 12, 2022. The awards were hosted by Fat Joe. Kendrick Lamar won the most awards at the ceremony, with six. Drake had the most nominations with 14, followed by Kanye West with 10 and Lamar with nine. Trina received the I Am Hip Hop Award. Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre is a performing arts venue located in the Cumberland/Galleria edge city, in northwest Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The $145 million facility celebrated its grand opening September 15, 2007, with a concert by Michael Feinstein and Linda Eder.
