2022 BBL Playoffs
The 2022 BBL Playoffs was the concluding postseason of the 2021–22 Basketball Bundesliga season. The playoffs started on 6 May and ended on 19 June 2022. Playoff qualifying Bracket All three rounds of the playoffs were played in a best-of-five format, with the higher seeded team playing the first, third and fifth game at home. Alba Berlin is a German professional basketball club that is based in Berlin, Germany. The club was founded in 1991, and is today the largest German national basketball club by membership figures. Tamir Blatt ( he, תמיר בלאט; born May 4, 1997) is an Israeli professional basketball player for Alba Berlin of the German Basketball Bundesliga. He is the son of former basketball player and coach David Blatt. In 2020-21 he led the Israel Basketball Premier League in assists per game. Early life Blatt was born in Netanya, Israel. Javontae Hawkins (born November 13, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for Limoges CSP of the LNB Pro A. He played his first two years of college basketball with the South Florida Bulls. Hawkins later played also with Eastern Kentucky and Fordham before going undrafted in the 2017 NBA draft. Brose Arena (official spelling: brose ARENA) is the third largest multi-functional indoor arena in Bavaria, after the Olympic Hall in Munich, and the Arena Nürnberger Versicherung, in Nuremberg. History The rights relating to the name of the arena, built in 2001, and previously known as Forum Bamberg, were sold to JAKO (a manufacturer of team sports clothing) in March 2006.
