Atlanta United 2
Atlanta United 2 are the reserve team of the Major League Soccer club Atlanta United FC. The team plays in the USL Championship, the second tier of American soccer. The team was established on November 14, 2017 and began their first professional season in March 2018. History In November 2017, the USL, a Division II sanctioned league by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), announced that Major League Soccer's Atlanta United had acquired a USL affiliate team and would begin play in the 2018 season. On January 9, 2018, the team name was revealed as Atlanta United 2. MLS Next Pro MLS announced that it would be one of the next eight teams to join MLS Next Pro on 2023. Stadium The team played their inaugural season at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, Georgia, with a capacity of 7,362 for soccer games. Joshua Wynder
Joshua Liam Wynder (born May 2, 2005) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a center-back for Liga Portugal 2 club Benfica B. Club career Wynder signed a USL Academy contract with USL Championship side Louisville City in February 2021. On June 3, 2021, Wynder signed a professional deal with the club. On June 8, 2023, Wynder joined Portuguese club Benfica for a fee of $1.2 million and add-ons, the largest transfer fee to date for a USL player. Sebastian Dalgaard Asmussen (born 23 August 1991) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a winger. Dalgaard primarily plays on the left wing but can also excel up top as a striker. Steevan Humberto Fortes dos Santos (born 17 September 1989), also known as "Duba", is a Cape Verdean footballer who plays as a forward for Union Omaha of USL League One. Kennesaw, Georgia
Kennesaw is a suburban city northwest of Atlanta in Cobb County, Georgia, United States, located within the greater Atlanta metropolitan area.
