2021–22 Montenegrin Cup
The 2021–22 Montenegrin Cup is the 16th season of the knockout Association football, football tournament in Montenegro. This season's cup was started on 27 October 2021. The winners of the cup this season earned a place in the first qualifying round of the 2022–23 UEFA Europa Conference League. FK Budućnost Podgorica, Budućnost is the defending champions from the previous season after defeating FK Dečić, Dečić in the final by the score of 3–1. First round Draw for the first round was held on 18 October 2021. The matches were played on 27 October 2021. Summary Matches Quarter-finals Draw for the quarter-finals was held on 15 November 2021. Fudbalski Klub Budućnost Podgorica (Cyrillic: Будућност Подгорица, , lit. "Future") is a Montenegrin football club from Podgorica, Montenegro. It is competing in the Montenegrin First League. Its colours are blue and white. Founded in 1925, Budućnost was the Montenegrin club with most appearances in the Yugoslav First League, debuting in 1946. Due to the city being renamed during the communist rule in Yugoslavia, Budućnost was known as ''Budućnost Titograd'' throughout that era. FK Podgorica
Fudbalski klub Podgorica, formerly known as OFK Mladost 1970, is a football club from the southwestern part of Podgorica, Montenegro. It was founded in 1970, the club was reactivated during 2014. In the summer 2019, the club was renamed to FK Podgorica. History Period 1970-1980 Founded in 1970 as OFK Mladost, they were one of the numerous clubs from Podgorica which participated in the lowest competitive level in Montenegro at that time. Stadion Zlatica
Stadion Zlatica is a football stadium in Zlatica, a suburb of Podgorica Capital, Montenegro. It is used for football matches and is the home ground of FK Kom. History The current stadium in Zlatica was built in 2016. It is situated near the old field, which was demolished during 2015. The new football stadium in Zlatica has a capacity of 1,200 seats. With numerous facilities and another training pitch, the stadium meets the criteria for official games in every national competition. Old ground Previously, in period between 1958 and 2015, FK Kom played home games at an old field, near the new stadium. The old stadium had a capacity of 800 seats. Willian da Silva Dias (born 10 May 1994) is a Brazilian footballer who plays for FK Iskra Danilovgrad as an attacking midfielder. Club career Born in Porto Ferreira, Dias graduated from the youth academy of local São Carlos Futebol Clube. In 2011, at the age of 17, he made his professional debut for the club in Paulista A2. Danilovgrad ( cnr, Даниловград) is a town in central Montenegro. It has a population of 6,852 (2011 census). It is situated in the Danilovgrad Municipality which lies along the main route between Montenegro's two largest cities, Podgorica and Nikšić. Braća Velašević Stadium
Braća Velašević Stadium is a football stadium in Danilovgrad, Montenegro. It is situated near the Zeta riverbank, it is used for football matches. The stadium is the home ground of FK Iskra. History The stadium was built after World War II, near the Zeta river, in the centre of town. Over time, it has undergone several renovations, with the most recent reconstruction completed in 2016. Viktor Đukanović (born 29 January 2004) is a Montenegrin professional footballer who plays as a winger for Allsvenskan club Hammarby IF and the Montenegro national team. Vladan Adžić (; born 5 July 1987) is a Montenegrin professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Budućnost. Club career Born in Cetinje, Adžić made his senior debut with FK Bokelj in the 2005–06 Second League of Serbia and Montenegro. Mamadou Mendy (born 4 October 1998), known as Mendy Mamadou, is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a winger for Süper Lig club İstanbulspor.
