2021–22 Iowa State Cyclones Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Iowa State Cyclones men's basketball team represents Iowa State University during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Cyclones are coached by T. J. Otzelberger, who is in his first season as head coach, and ninth season at Iowa State. They play their home games at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa as members of the Big 12 Conference. The Cyclones started the season 12–0, good for one of the best starts in school history, including being crowned the champion of the NIT Season Tip-Off with wins over 25th-ranked Xavier and 9th-ranked Memphis. In Otzelberger's first season as head coach he claimed the best start to an Iowa State coaching career by winning his first 10 games, ultimately winning his first 12 games before losing at home to #1 Baylor to end his unbeaten start at Iowa State. Daniyal Robinson
Daniyal Robinson is an American collegiate basketball coach. He played college basketball at Indian Hills Community College and the University of Arkansas–Little Rock, then served as an assistant coach for five collegiate teams before being named head coach for Cleveland State University prior to the start of the 2022–23 season. Playing and assistant coaching career Robinson is a native of Rock Island, Illinois, and played basketball at Rock Island High School. Robinson then attended Indian Hills Community College for two years, where he continued his basketball career, and subsequently played for the Little Rock Trojans men's basketball team from 1996 to 1998. Robinson remained on the UA–LR staff as an administrative assistant to head coach Porter Moser. Rasir Bolton
Rasir Zias Bolton (born September 27, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for Telenet Giants Antwerp of the BNXT League. He played college basketball for the Penn State Nittany Lions, Iowa State Cyclones, and Gonzaga Bulldogs. High school career Bolton attended four different high schools during his first three years, often leaving due to changes in coaching or the athletic department. For his senior season, he transferred to Massanutten Military Academy in Woodstock, Virginia. He played a postgraduate season at the school. Tristan Enaruna (born 26 June 2001) is a Dutch college basketball player for the Cleveland State Vikings of the Horizon League. The Penn State Nittany Lions basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team representing the Pennsylvania State University. They are a member of the Big Ten Conference and play home games at the 15,261-seat Bryce Jordan Center, moving there from Rec Hall during the 1995–96 season. Izaiah Antoine Brockington (born July 12, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Birmingham Squadron of the NBA G League. The DePaul Blue Demons men's basketball program is the NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's basketball program of DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Horizon League for the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. The head coach for the Green Bay Phoenix is Will Ryan. The Memphis Tigers men's basketball team represents the University of Memphis in NCAA Division I men's college basketball. The Tigers have competed in the American Athletic Conference since 2013.
