2021 TCR Europe Touring Car Series
The 2021 TCR Europe Touring Car Series was the sixth season of TCR Europe Touring Car Series. The season began at the Slovakiaring in May and ended at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in October. Mikel Azcona won the drivers' championship for the second time and Sébastien Loeb Racing won the teams' championship for the first time. Calendar The calendar was announced on 23 December 2020 with 7 rounds scheduled. Mikel Azcona
Mikel Azcona Troyas (born 25 June 1996) is a Spanish auto racing driver who competes in the World Touring Car Cup for PWR Racing. He won the TCR Europe Touring Car Series championship in 2018 and 2021 and the WTCR championship in 2022. Racing career Early career Azcona began his karting career at the age of 6 with a kart bought by his father. participated in Spanish karting championships where in 2009, he finished second in the Cadet class in the national championship and in the XXI Series, and in 2010, finishing in fourth place in the KF3 class. Circuit De Spa-Francorchamps
The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (), frequently referred to as ''Spa'', is a motor-racing circuit located in Stavelot, Belgium. It is the current venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix, hosting its first Grand Prix in 1925, and has held a Grand Prix every year since 1985 (except 2003 and 2006). Spa also hosts several other international events including the 24 Hours of Spa, the World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. It is also home to the Uniroyal Fun Cup 25 Hours of Spa, one of the longest motor races in the world. 2021 French F4 Championship
The 2021 French F4 Championship was the 11th season to run under the guise of the French F4 Championship and the fourth under the FIA Formula 4 regulations. The championship used Mygale M14-F4 chassis. The series began on 3 April at Circuit Paul Armagnac and ended on 24 October at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours. 2021 International GT Open
The 2021 International GT Open was the sixteenth season of the International GT Open, the grand tourer-style sports car racing series founded in 2006 by the Spanish GT Sport Organización. It began on 15 May at Circuit Paul Ricard and endedat the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 24 October after seven rounds of two races each. This season the GT Cup Open Europe was brought into the International GT Open, meaning the GTC and GT4 cars shared grids with the headlining series.
