2021 Sprecher 150
The 2021 Sprecher 150 was the 16th stock car race of the 2021 ARCA Menards Series season, the seventh race of the 2021 ARCA Menards Series East season, the eighth race of the 2021 Sioux Chief Showdown, and the sixth iteration of the event. The race was held on Sunday, August 29, 2021, in West Allis, Wisconsin at the Milwaukee Mile, a permanent oval-shaped, low-banked racetrack. The race took the scheduled 150 laps to complete. At race's end, Ty Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing would dominate the race, leading every lap en route to his 17th career ARCA Menards Series win and his ninth of the season. To fill out the podium, Sam Mayer of Bret Holmes Racing and Daniel Dye of GMS Racing would finish second and third, respectively. The Sprecher 150 is a annual ARCA Menards Series/ARCA Menards Series East combination race held at the Milwaukee Mile in West Allis, Wisconsin. The event returned to the ARCA schedule in 2021 for the first time since 2007. It was originally held from 1982 and 1983 before being brought back from 2005 through 2007. The ARCA Menards Series East, formerly the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, joined the ARCA Menards Series in this race starting in 2021 and it became one of three combination races for the two series, the others being Iowa and Bristol. History ARCA first raced at the Milwaukee Mile in 1958 with races co-sanctioned with USAC. ARCA brought the Milwaukee Mile back to its schedule on June 4, 2005. Jason Miles (born August 12, 1980) is an American professional stock car racing Owner-driver (NASCAR), owner-driver. He last competed part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving for Fast Track Racing. Racing career Early career Miles started at the age of six, first racing go-karts. Within years, he would move up to late models, driving for Dale Earnhardt, Inc., finding success with numerous wins across the late model scene. However, in 1999, he suffered a career-ending crash. ARTGO
The ARTGO Challenge Series was a late model short track racing series that ran in the Midwestern United States from 1975 until 1998. Many race car drivers have used the ARTGO series as a stepping stone to get into ASA, ARCA, and NASCAR. Art Frigo created the series with the help of Bob Roper and John McKarns. He came up with the name by taking his first full name and the last two letters of his last name, coming up with the name ARTGO. The first race was held on September 7, 1975, at the Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Illinois. The inaugural Wayne Carter Classic was won by Tom Reffner.
