2021 Puebla EPrix
The 2021 Puebla ePrix (formally the 2021 CBMM Niobium Puebla E-Prix) was a pair of Formula E Electric motorsport, electric car races held at the Autódromo Miguel E. Abed in the town of Amozoc de Mota, Amozoc near Puebla (city), Puebla, Mexico on 19 and 20 June 2021. With usual Mexico City ePrix venue Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez being used as a temporary hospital for COVID-19 patients, a replacement had to be found, making this the inaugural running of a competitive List of Formula E ePrix, Formula E event at the track, and the sixth in the country. It marked the eighth and ninth rounds of the 2020–21 Formula E World Championship, 2020–21 Formula E season. The Envision Racing Formula E Team is a British motor racing team based at Silverstone Park and majority-owned by Chinese wind turbine manufacturer Envision Energy that competes in Formula E. Hendrik Johannes Nicasius "Nyck" de Vries (; born 6 February 1995) is a Dutch racing driver who is currently serving as the reserve driver for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team. Robin Frijns
Robin Frijns (born 7 August 1991) is a Dutch motor racing driver. He is the 2012 Formula Renault 3.5 Series champion, and the first driver to have won the series in his debut season since Robert Kubica in 2005. Frijns is currently competing in Formula E driving for Team ABT and in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Team WRT. The 2020–21 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship was the seventh season of the FIA Formula E championship, a motor racing championship for battery-electric cars recognised by motorsport's governing body, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), as the highest class of competition for electric open-wheel racing cars. With the 2020–21 season, the championship officially became a FIA World Championship, joining Formula One, the World Endurance Championship, the World Rally Championship, and the World Rallycross Championship. Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez
The Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is a motorsport race track in Mexico City, Mexico, named after the racing drivers Ricardo (1942–1962) and Pedro Rodríguez (1940–1971). The circuit got its name shortly after it opened when Ricardo Rodríguez died in practice for the non-Championship 1962 Mexican Grand Prix. Ricardo's brother Pedro was also killed behind the wheel nine years later. Since 2015, the track has once again hosted the Formula One Mexican Grand Prix, an event it previously hosted in two separate periods on a different layout, the last occasion of which was in 1992. The circuit is located within the public park of the Magdalena Mixhuca Sports City in southeast Mexico City. Mexico City EPrix
The Mexico City ePrix is an annual race of the single-seater, electrically powered Formula E championship, held in Mexico City, Mexico. It was first raced in the 2015–16 season. Circuit The ePrix is held at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez and is currently the only permanent racing facility on the Formula E calendar, albeit in a very different form to the version used in Formula One. The layout is just over two kilometers in length, and is based on a modified version of the one-mile short oval used in the NASCAR Mexico Series. It utilises the full Peraltada final corner, whereas the exit of the Foro Sol section is next to the entrance.
