2021 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships
The 2021 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships was held from November 7 to 13 at the Almaty Arena in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The top men's team and the top two women's teams qualified for the 2022 World Men's Curling Championship and 2022 World Women's Curling Championship respectively. The next two placed teams of each gender qualified for the World Qualification Event, for a second chance to qualify for the World Curling Championships. 2022 World Women's Curling Championship
The 2022 World Women's Curling Championship (branded as the 2022 BKT Tires & OK Tire World Women's Curling Championship for sponsorship reasons) was held from March 19 to 27 at the CN Centre in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. Prince George was originally chosen to host the 2020 World Women's Curling Championship, but the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The format for the Championship returned to a 13 team round robin opposed to the 14 teams qualified for the 2021 World Women's Curling Championship. The top six teams qualified for the playoff round, where the top two teams received a bye while the remaining four played the first round. The no-tick rule was used for the first time at a World Championship tournament. Scotland and Japan were forced to withdraw from the tournament due to COVID-19 issues within their teams. is a Japanese curling, curler from Takarazuka, Hyōgo. After winning the 2018 Japanese curling championship, Iwai skip (curling), skipped the Japanese national team at the 2018 World Men's Curling Championship. Jason Chang (born May 25, 1982) is a Hong Kong curling, curler. He has competed at the 2016 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships where he finished with a 3-5 record, at the 2017 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships where he finished with a 1-7 record, and at the 2018 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships where he finished with a 3-5 record. Cheng Kai-wen (; using "" as his registration until 2010, born July 26, 1988) is a Taiwanese professional baseball pitcher for the Wei Chuan Dragons of the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL).
