2021 Norwegian Women's Cup
The 2021 Norwegian Women's Cup was the 44th season of the Norwegian annual knock-out football tournament. It began on 3 August 2021 and ended with the final on 31 October 2021. Vålerenga won the competition for the second year in a row after beating Sandviken in the final. First round 10 teams from 1. divisjon and 34 teams from 2. divisjon entered the first round. Vålerenga Fotball Damer
Vålerenga Fotball Damer is the women's association football, women's football branch of Vålerenga Fotball. Based in Oslo, the team plays in Norway's top league, Toppserien. The team first won promotion to Toppserien in 2011 Norwegian First Division (women), 2011 after earning promotion from the Norwegian First Division (women), First Division. This made Vålerenga the third Norwegian club with both a men's team and a women's team in the top-tier league, and the first club to have its own women's team win promotion to Toppserien, as the two other clubs, Stabæk Fotball and Lillestrøm SK, inherited another club's women's team. In 2020, the club made record by winning the Toppserien and the Norwegian Women's Cup, NM Kvinner, their first major titles after finishing runners-up at the previous editions. Raufoss IL
Raufoss IL is a sports club from Raufoss, Norway. The club was formed in 1918. The football section played in the Norwegian top flight between 1937–1948, between 1957–1960, in 1964 and between 1973–1974. The club currently plays in 1. divisjon, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. Since 2015, they have played their home games at Nammo Stadion. In 2007 Raufoss returned to the 1. divisjon and were able to finish in eleventh place, after being relegated from the second tier in 2004. However, due to financial problems and failure to meet demands on infrastructure, the Football Association of Norway decided not to award Raufoss the required license for play in the top two divisions. FK Fyllingsdalen is a football club from Fyllingsdalen, a borough in the Norwegian city of Bergen. The club is a result of a merge between the two football clubs Fyllingen and Løv-Ham. In 2011, the last season before the merge, Løv-Ham played in 1. divisjon but was relegated, while Fyllingen played in the 3. divisjon. Fyllingsdalen took over Løv-Ham's spot in the 2012 2. divisjon. Sportsklubben Haugar is an association football club from Haugesund, Norway, established in 1939. Its top women's team plays in the Second Division and the top men's team plays in the Fifth Division. The men's team has played two Norwegian Football Cup Finals, losing 0–7 against Fredrikstad in 1961 and 2–1 against Viking in 1979. This qualified the team for the 1980–81 European Cup Winners' Cup: in the first round, Haugar drew Sion 1–1 away and then beat them 2–0 at home. Viking FK Kvinner ( en, Viking FK Women) is the women's team of Norwegian football club Viking FK. Based in Stavanger, it plays in the Norwegian Second Division, the third tier of women's football in Norway. Founded in 2011, the team first entered the league system ahead of the 2015 season. Bryne Fotballklubb () is a professional football club in Bryne, Norway, that competes in the 1. divisjon, the second tier of Norwegian football. History Bryne has played a total of 17 seasons in the top flight of Norwegian football since their debut in 1976. They had their longest spell of 13 consecutive top tier seasons from 1976 until 1988. Sportsklubben Snøgg is a Norwegian multi-sports club from Notodden. It was founded on 5 March 1905. The men's football team played in the highest league for the 1951–52 season. After the 1999 season, the team merged with Heddal IL's men's team to form Notodden FK. Notodden FK is a second-tier club. Snøgg is now a decent athletics club. Their first medal in the Norwegian athletics championships, a gold medal, was taken by Jonas Lie in 1908. Fotballaget Fart is a Norwegian football club based in Vang outside Hamar. The club is most noted for their women's team which played in Toppserien in 2008, 2012 and 2019. Their home matches are played at Fartbana. Norway international footballers Thorstein Helstad and Kristin Bekkevold started their careers at Fart.
