2021 Liga Futebol Amadora
The 2021 Liga Futebol Amadora was the fifth season of the Liga Futebol Amadora Primeira Divisão. The season began on 12 November and finished on 23 December 2021. Lalenok United were the defending champions. Karketu Dili won their second Liga Futebol Amadora title and qualified for the 2022 AFC Cup in the play-off round. Karketu Dili
Karketu Dili Futebol Clube is a Timorese professional football club based in Dili, that competes in the Liga Futebol Amadora, the top tier domestic league since its inception in 2016. The club wins the Premeira Divisão in 2017, finishing with a total of 28 points, 3 above runners up AS Ponte Leste. They also finished runner-up in the competition in both the 2018 Premeira Divisão to champions Boavista. The club have won a record of 3 league titles and 1 LFA Super Taça. History In 2019 Karketu Dili hired former Persiba Balikpapan coach Mr. Haryadi as the team's new manager. Replacing Antonio Timotio after Karketu's slow start to the season, Hayardi stated that his main target is to bring the team to achieve better results. AS Ponta Leste
AS Ponta Leste is a football club based in Dili, East Timor. The team plays in the Liga Futebol Amadora in the Primeira Divisão. The club's most successful season came in 2016 in which the team won the 2016 Taça 12 de Novembro after beating Assalam FC 1-0 in the final, as well as the Super Taça which they won against league champions Benfica Laulara 2-1. Since then however the team has yet to win any further competitions. The club owned by Inácio Moreira the Vice-Minister of Public Works, Transport and Communications of Timor Leste and Osório Florindo the vice-President of Federação de Futebol de Timor-Leste. Lalenok United
Lalenok United Football Club, commonly known as Lalenok United, is an East Timorese football club based in Dili. The team plays in the Liga Futebol Amadora Primeira Divisão, after finishing runners up and being promoted from the Segunda Divisão in 2018. In 2019 the team won the Primeira Divisão title, finishing the season with a total of 30 points from 14 matches, 5 points clear of previous champion Boavista. In the same season the team also won the Taça 12 de Novembro and the LFA Super Taça, becoming the first Timorese team to ever win all three competitions. In 2020 Lalenok became the first ever East Timorese football club to ever compete in the AFC Cup, playing against Indonesian Liga 1 side PSM Makassar in their opening match in the ASEAN Play-off round. The National Stadium of East Timor ( pt, Estádio Nacional de Timor-Leste, tet, Stadion Nasional Timor Lorosa'e), also known as the Municipal Stadium of Dili ( pt, Estádio Municipal de Díli, links=no, tet, Estadiu Munisipal Díli, links=no), is a multi-purpose stadium in Dili, East Timor. Liga Futebol Amadora Primeira Divisão (often referred to as the LFA Primeira Divisão) is the highest division of the Liga Futebol Amadora and the highest overall in the Timorense football league system. The league is not fully professional. History The Liga Futebol Amadora Primera Divisão started from the 2016 season and replaced Super Liga Timorense as the top tier league in Timor Leste. Liga Futebol Amadora
Liga Futebol Timor-Leste (LFTL) is a league competition featuring football clubs from Timor Leste. It replaced Super Liga Timorense in 2015. The competition initially consisted of two main divisions, the Primeira Divisão and Segunda Divisão, however was expanded to include a third division in 2019. As of 2020 the winner of the previous Premeria Divisão season represents Timor Leste in the AFC Cup. In 2020 the name of the competition was renamed from the Liga Futebol Amadora to the Liga Futebol Timor-Leste. The league did not run however due to the COVID pandemic, with the teams set to compete in the Pimeira and Segunda Divisão instead competing in the Copa FFTL. Dili Institute of Technology FC or DIT FC is a football club of East Timor based in Dili. The team plays in the Liga Futebol Amadora. They reached the 2016 Taça 12 de Novembro semi-finals before they lost 1-2 by the champions AS Ponta Leste. Francisco Cosme da Souza Gama was their technical director.
