The 2021 French motorcycle Grand Prix (officially known as the Shark Grand Prix de France) was the fifth round of the 2021 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season and the second round of the 2021 MotoE World Cup. Shark (helmet Manufacturer)
Shark is a French motorcycle helmet manufacturer based in Marseille. Shark helmets are known for their safety and meet SHARP, DOT, ECE, and FIM standards. Though the company is primarily known as a racing helmet manufacturer, they also produce urban/street helmets for commuters. History Shark was founded in 1986 by brothers and former professional racers André and Robert Teston in Marseille, France. In 1990, Raymond Roche won the Superbike World Championship wearing a Shark helmet, which increased the brand's popularity. Gas Gas is a Spanish motorcycle manufacturer established in 1985 by Narcìs Casas and Josep Pibernat in Salt, Girona. The company specializes in off-road motorcycles for trials and enduro competitions. Gas Gas was purchased by KTM motorcycles in 2019. After the sale to KTM, Gas Gas's off-road models were purchased by Spanish motorcycle manufacturer Rieju. Company history In 1973, Narcìs Casas and Josep Pibernat began operating a Bultaco motorcycle franchise in Salt. With the financial demise of the Bultaco factory in 1979, Casas and Pibernat began importing Italian SWM motorcycles until 1984 when, the manufacturer ceased operations. Casas and Pibernat then embarked on a programme to manufacture trial motorbikes for sale in their shop. Pol Espargaró Villà (born 10 June 1991) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer who for 2023 will ride in the MotoGP class for the newly named GasGas Factory Racing team, a development of Tech3. He previously spent two years with Repsol Honda. Pol is the younger brother of fellow MotoGP rider Aleix Espargaró, and is best known for winning the 2013 Moto2 World Championship. Takaaki Nakagami
is a Japanese Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing for LCR Honda Idemitsu in MotoGP. He won the Japanese Road Race Championship 125cc class in 2006 and J-GP2 class in 2011. Career Early career Born in Chiba, Nakagami joined the Japanese Road Race Championship in the GP125 category in 2005 joining the Harc-Pro Honda Team finishing 13th as a rookie in the series. The 2021 MotoE World Cup (known officially as the 2021 FIM Enel MotoE World Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the third season of the MotoE World Cup for electric motorcycle racing, and was a support series of the 73rd F.I.M. Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. The Cup was won by Spanish rider Jordi Torres for the second consecutive season at the final round in Misano. 2021 Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing Season

Road Racing World Championship season. Fabio Quartararo won his first world title, with five race wins ahead of securing the title in the third last race of the season. Quartararo became the first ever Frenchman to win the premier class title, which was also the first title for a non-Spanish rider since Australian Casey Stoner in 2011. Alessandro Zaccone (born 16 January 1999) is an Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer, contracted to compete for Gresini Racing in the 2022 Moto2 World Championship. Career Early career Zaccone began competing as a child; in 2008, he was regional mini-bike champion and fourth at the national level.
