The 2021 Ferrari Challenge Europe is the 29th season of Ferrari Challenge Europe and its predecessor Ferrari Challenge Italy. The season consists of 7 rounds, starting at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza on 10 April 2021 and ending at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello during the Ferrari World Finals on 20 November 2021 Michelle Gatting became the first female to be crowned the overall champion of Ferrari Challenge Europe Trofeo Pirelli. Niccolò Schirò (born 25 March 1994) is an Italian racing driver, who is best known for being the 2012 European F3 Open champion. Career Karting Born in Milan, Schirò began karting in 2007 and raced both in his native Italy and Europe for the majority of his karting career, working his way up from the junior ranks to progress through to the KF2 category a year later, when he finished 28th in the European KF2 Championship. Formula Abarth In 2010, Schirò graduated to single–seaters into the newly launched Formula Abarth series, competing with Emmebi Motorsport. He only finished five races inside the top twenty placings and finished the season in 29th place. Ferrari Challenge
The Ferrari Challenge is a single-marque motorsport championship that was created in 1993 for owners of the 348 Berlinetta who wanted to become involved in racing. The series was proposed by Ferrari Club Nederland founder and President Hans Hugenholtz to Carlo Tazzioli and Michele Sofisti who were in charge of Ferrari Deutschland. Hugenholtz wrote the sporting rules and Ferrari's Roberto Vaglietti was responsible for the technical rules. For 1995 a kit was made available to convert the 355 for the Challenge before race-ready Challenge cars could be ordered in 1996. Loris Kessel (1 April 1950 – 15 May 2010) was a racing driver from Switzerland. Biography He was born in Lugano and died in Montagnola following a long illness. He participated in six Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, debuting on 2 May 1976. He scored no championship points. In 1976, he drove a Brabham for RAM, and in 1977 he drove his own Apollon- Williams, although this car was not a success. Kessel ran a series of car dealerships in Switzerland and his own racing team, competing in Ferrari Challenge series in Italy and the main European series. The team also competes in the FIA GT3 European Championship with the same car. Claudio Schiavoni (born 14 November 1960) is an Italian racing driver currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the European Le Mans Series for Iron Lynx. Schiavoni previously competed in the Ferrari Challenge, Blancpain GT Sports Club and Michelin Le Mans Cup with Kessel Racing and Scuderia Niki. Doriane Pin (born 6 January 2004 in Paris) is a racing driver from France. She is the reigning Ferrari Challenge Europe champion and is competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series.
