2021 European Athletics U20 Championships
The 2021 European Athletics U20 Championships were the 26th edition of the biennial European U20 athletics championships. They were held in Tallinn, Estonia from 15 July to 18 July. The 2021 European Athletics U23 Championships had been held in the same venue one week earlier, after Bergen renounced. Tallinn
Tallinn () is the most populous and capital city of Estonia. Situated on a bay in north Estonia, on the shore of the Gulf of Finland of the Baltic Sea, Tallinn has a population of 437,811 (as of 2022) and administratively lies in the Harju ''maakond'' (county). Lorenzo Ndele Simonelli (born 1 June 2002) is a Tanzanian-born Italian hurdler who was 4th at the 2023 European indoor Championships. Biography Born in Dodoma, Tanzania to an Italian father (anthropologist and researcher) and a Tanzanian mother, he moved with his family to Rome at the age of 5. Career At the indoor Europeans in Istanbul 2023, credited at the same time as the hundredth of the third place, after the photo-finish check he missed the bronze medal by 5 thousandths of a second.
