2021 DTM Trophy
The 2021 DTM Trophy was the second season of the DTM support series for GT cars eligible for E2-SH and E2-SC-class FIA categories. The series was run by ITR, the association also organising the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters. The championship ran as part of selected DTM race weekends in 2021, commencing in Monza on 19 June and finishing on 3 October at the Hockenheimring. 2021 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters
The 2021 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters was the thirty-fifth season of premier German touring car championship and also twenty-second season under the moniker of Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters since the series' resumption in 2000. It was the first season of the DTM to be run under Group GT3 regulations, following the costly two-year "Class 1 Touring Cars" venture that led to Audi and BMW withdrawing manufacturer support from the series. Maximilian Götz controversially won the championship in the last race following both a first-corner collision between his rivals Kelvin van der Linde and Liam Lawson and team orders imposed by Mercedes-AMG. Theo Oeverhaus
Theo Oeverhaus (born 18 December 2004) is a German racing driver. He is a protégé of Jörg Müller and the youngest driver ever to compete in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters. Career Karting Oeverhaus started karting at the age of 12. He mainly competed in German championships including the ADAC Kart Cup and the ADAC Kart Bundeslauf. In 2019 he finished fourth in the ADAC Kart Bundeslauf. Cup racing Oeverhaus made his car racing debut in 2020 by competing in the DMV BMW 318ti Cup. He finished the season as runner-up. DTM Trophy In 2021 made his debut in the DTM Trophy with Walkenhorst Motorsport. He took his first race win at the Hockenheimring and finished the season in sixth. In 2022 he competed in the DTM Trophy with Walkenhorst Motorsport once again. He took his only race win of the season in a chaotic race at the Norisring which only ten cars finished. Lausitzring
The Lausitzring (formally known as the Dekra Lausitzring for ownership reasons) is a race track located near Klettwitz (a civil parish of Schipkau, Oberspreewald-Lausitz district) in the state of Brandenburg in northeast Germany, near the borders of Poland and the Czech Republic. It was originally named Lausitzring as it is located in the region the Germans call Lausitz (Lusatia), but was renamed EuroSpeedway Lausitz for better international communication from 2000 to 2010. The EuroSpeedway has been in use for motor racing since 2000. Among other series, DTM (German Touring Car Championship) takes place there annually. It also used to host the Superbike World Championship. The Lausitzring has a feature which is unique in continental Europe: a high-speed oval race track, as used in the United States by NASCAR and IndyCar. Nico Verdonck
Nicolas Verdonck (born 5 December 1985) is a Belgian racing driver. He was born in Brussels. Career Formula Renault Verdonck competed in Formula Renault 1600 in 2003, his first year in single seaters. His race engineer was Tim Wright. Formula 3000 Verdonck rose to prominence when he competed in the 2004 International Formula 3000 season with the Astromega team. Although the step up in power and downforce from FRenault to F3000 is a big one, Verdonck was given a degree of stability by the fact that he kept Wright as his race engineer. However, he only scored one point, which was not enough to get him a drive in the new GP2 Series for 2005. After his home race at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, he won a competition for the best driving style. is a sports car and grand tourer manufactured by the Toyota Motor Corporation beginning in 1978. The name "supra" is derived from the Latin prefix, meaning "above", "to surpass" or "go beyond". The initial four generations of the Supra were produced from 1978 to 2002. The fifth generation has been produced since March 2019 and went on sale in May 2019. Since its introduction to motorsport in the early 1970s, Toyota has been involved in a number of motorsport activities, most notably in Formula One, NASCAR, IndyCar, sports car racing, various off road rallies and the WRC. Adam Robert Christodoulou (born 11 June 1989, in Lichfield) is a Greek-British racing driver, who won the 2008 British Formula Renault Championship, also won the 2009 Star Mazda Championship in the United States. His less successful cousin Riki Christodoulou is also a racing driver, having competed in British Formula 3 Championship. Career Karting Christodoulou began his racing career in karting in Britain. His first competitive success came in the 2001 Kartmasters British Grand Prix - comer cadet where he came 1st in class, the first of many accolades in his burgeoning career. However in 2006 an MSA court found that Christodoulou had competed in a meeting at Rowrah on 5 June 2005 using illegally-modified engines. The Porsche 981 is the internal designation given to the third-generation of the Boxster and second generation of the Cayman models built by German automobile manufacturer Porsche. It was announced on 13 March 2012 at the Geneva Auto Show with sales starting early summer 2012. The Mercedes-AMG GT (C190 / R190) is a grand tourer produced in coupé and roadster bodystyles by German automobile manufacturer Mercedes-AMG.
