2021 Bretagne Classic Ouest–France
The 2021 Bretagne Classic Ouest–France is a road cycling one-day race that took place on 29 August 2021 in the region of Brittany in northwestern France. It was the 85th edition of the Bretagne Classic Ouest–France and the 25th event of the 2021 UCI World Tour. The race started and ended in Plouay, featuring a hilly and undulating course with of elevation gain. The first half of the race saw riders head west out of Ploauy and ride through Scaër on the way to Douarnenez along the Atlantic coast. Once there, the course turned back east towards Ploauy and once again passed through Scaër to form a rough figure eight. On the way back to Ploauy after passing through Scaër for the second time, riders ascended ''Saoutalarin'', the race's only gravel climb. The race concluded with a finishing circuit in and around Ploauy. 2021 UCI World Tour
The 2021 UCI World Tour was a series of races that included twenty-nine road cycling events throughout the 2021 cycling season. The tour started with the opening stage of the UAE Tour on 21 February, and concluded with Il Lombardia on 9 October. Events The 2021 calendar was announced in the autumn of 2020. Cancelled events Due to COVID-19-related logistical concerns raised by teams regarding travel to Australia (including strict quarantine requirements), the Tour Down Under (19–24 January) and the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race (31 January) were cancelled. Giacomo Nizzolo (born 30 January 1989) is an Italian racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Leopard Trek (2011–18) Nizzolo took his first win at UCI World Tour level in August 2012, on stage 5 of the Eneco Tour. Ethan Edward Hayter (born 18 September 1998) is a British racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Hayter started riding at Herne Hill Velodrome in 2012, aged 13.
