The 2021 24H Touring Car Endurance Series powered by Hankook was the sixth season of the Touring Car Endurance Series (TCES). Creventic was the organiser and promoter of the series. Mogyoród
Mogyoród is a small traditional village in Pest County, Hungary. The Battle of Mogyoród took place here on 14 March 1074, between Solomon, King of Hungary and his cousins Géza and Ladislaus, who were claiming rights to the throne. To commemorate the victory, László Benchmarks were installed, establishing a monastery on Klastrom mountain. Among the sights of the village is the Roman Catholic church, built between 1745 and 1749, the statue of St John of Nepomuk, carved from stone, and the Baroque parish built by the Bishop of Vác. The Hungaroring race track is located in the town, home to the Hungarian Grand Prix. Location The town is 18 km from the center of Budapest, next to the M3 freeway in the valley of the Gödöllői hills. Christophe Hurni
Christophe Hurni (born 1 December 1962, Switzerland) is a Swiss racing driver. Biography Hurni started racing at 21, competing in the '' Volant Elf'' talent search at Circuit Paul Ricard in 1983 and making the finals alongside Jean Alesi and eventual winner Éric Bernard. After a short stint in karting he moved into Formula 3, contesting mainly the Swiss championship but also various events across Europe (most notably in Monaco). Hurni then bounced around Renault Clio Cup Switzerland, Formula 3000 and Porsche Carrera Cup throughout the 1990s before stepping away from driving to focus on running his ''Sports Promotion'' team. Kari-Pekka Laaksonen (born 23 April 1967) is a Finnish racing driver currently competing in the TCR International Series. Having previously competed in Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia, Porsche GT3 Cup Finland and ADAC TCR Germany Touring Car Championship amongst others. Business career Laaksonen has been active in the transport sector throughout his professional career. After graduating Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology LUT and a number of management positions, Laaksonen became CEO of Containerships Plc in 2011 and remained at the company when it was integrated into the CMA CGM group. The Fin left the company in June 2019 to join Samskip. The move required Laaksonen to move to Rotterdam where the Samskip headquarters are located. Pergusa is an Italian village of Sicily. It is a ''frazione'' of Enna, the administrative seat of the same-named province. Geography Pergusa lies in hills about 10 km south of Enna. Pergusa is reached by the ''Enna-Gela Road'', which allow to reach Enna (about 5 km of way) and, from there, to entry the motorway Palermo-Catania. The Autodromo di Pergusa is an automobile and motorcycle circuit that encircles the only Sicilian natural lake, Pergusa Lake. The circuit is also known as Enna-Pergusa, as the lake is located near the city of Enna. Coppa Florio
The Coppa Florio (or Florio Cup) was a motorsport race for automobiles first held in Italy in 1900. It was renamed in 1905 when Vincenzo Florio offered the initial 50,000 Lira prize money and a cup designed by Polak of Paris. The cup was to be awarded to the car maker who gained the most wins in the first seven races, beginning with the race held in 1905. In the event, the first seven races were all won by different manufacturers, but Peugeot won the eighth race in 1925 and thus secured the cup with its second win.
