2020–21 Tahiti Cup
The 2020–21 Tahiti Cup (also known as Coupe de Polynésie or Coupe Tahiti Nui) is the 82nd edition of the national cup in Tahitian football. A.S. Vénus are the title holders, having won the 2018–19 Tahiti Cup, since the 2019–20 edition was cancelled due the COVID-19 pandemic. In the final, A.S. Vénus defended the title, after defeating A.S. Pirae. 2019–20 Tahiti Cup
The 2019–20 Tahiti Cup (also known as Coupe de Polynésie or Coupe Tahiti Nui) is the 81st edition of the national cup in Tahitian football. A.S. Vénus are the defending champions. The winner will earn the right to represent Tahiti in the 2020–21 Coupe de France, entering at the seventh round. The 2020–21 Tahiti Ligue 1 is the 74nd season of the Tahiti Ligue 1, the top-flight football league in Tahiti. The season started on 08 October 2020. A.S. Pirae are the defending champions. Teaonui Tehau (born 1 September 1992) is a Tahitian footballer who plays as a striker or as a midfielder for A.S. Vénus. Raiatea
Raiatea or Ra'iatea ( Tahitian: ''Ra‘iātea'') is the second largest of the Society Islands, after Tahiti, in French Polynesia. The island is widely regarded as the "centre" of the eastern islands in ancient Polynesia and it is likely that the organised migrations to the Hawaiian Islands, New Zealand and other parts of East Polynesia started at Raiatea. A traditional name for the island is Havai'i, homeland of the Māori people. Situated on the southeast coast is the historical Taputapuatea marae, which was established by 1000 CE. The site was the political and religious center of eastern Polynesia for several centuries, and was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2017 for its historical significance.
