The 2020–21 Mumbai City FC season was the seventh season in the history of Indian Super League club Mumbai City. Mumbai City Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Mumbai, Maharashtra that competes in the Indian Super League, the top flight of Indian football. The club was founded in August 2014, during the inaugural season of the Indian Super League (ISL). Mumbai City is the first club to win both the ISL title and League Winners Shield, which it did in the 2020–21 season. Mohamad Rakip (born 14 May 2000) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Indian Super League club East Bengal. He also represented India at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2017. Bidyananda Singh Ningthoujam (born 27 November 1997) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for I-League club TRAU.
