2020–21 Kategoria E Dytë
The 2020-21 Kategoria e Dytë was the 49th official season of the Albanian football third division since its establishment. There were 27 teams competing this season, split in 2 groups. The winners of the groups played the league's final against each other and also gained promotion to the 2021-22 Kategoria e Parë. Teams ranked from the 2nd to the 5th position qualified to the play-off round which they played against the 7th ranked teams in the 2020-21 Kategoria e Parë. Butrinti, Maliqi, Shkumbini and Tërbuni were promoted to the 2021–22 Kategoria e Parë. Shkumbini won their second Kategoria e Dytë title after beating Maliqi in the final match. Kategoria E Dytë
Kategoria e Dytë is the third professional level of football in Albania. It was called the ''Second Division'' until 2003. Kategoria e Dytë has two groups, A and B. which are divided geographically. It is made up of 23 teams. The winners of each group earn the right to be promoted to the Kategoria e Parë and they also play a single final for seasonal champions. Teams which finish in the last 2 positions on each group are relegated to the Kategoria e Tretë Kategoria e Tretë is the fourth and lowest professional level of football in Albania. KF Spartak Tirana ( al, KF Spartaku Tiranë) is an Albanian football club based the capital city Tirana. They currently compete in the Kategoria e Tretë. History The club was founded in 1950 as the team of the trade unions. Spartak Tirana managed to play in the years 1954, 1955 and 1957 in the Kategoria Superiore. Due to the reorganisation of sports teams in 1959-1960, most of the best players of Spartak Tirana transferred to 17 Nëntori (today Sportklub Tirana). KF Devolli is an Albanian football club based in the small municipality of Devoll, Korçë. History Bilisht Sport ''Klubi i Futbollit Devolli'' was founded in 1927 and played under the name ''Devolli Bilisht''. They were renamed to just ''Bilishti'' between 1949 and 1950, before changing to ''Puna Bilisht'' between 1951 and 1958. KF Tomori is an Albanian football club based in the city of Berat. The club's home ground is the Tomori Stadium and they currently participate in the Kategoria e Parë. History The sport of football was introduced to the city of Berat in the early 1910s by students who had completed their studies abroad. They brought back footballs and the rules of the game from their travels which they then passed onto the locals. As early as 1913, amateur neighbourhood teams were formed, such as Çunat e Lumit, Vakëfi, Kalaja and Opinga.
