2020–21 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors Basketball Team
The 2020–21 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors basketball team represented the University of Hawaii at Manoa during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Rainbow Warriors, led by sixth-year head coach Eran Ganot, played their home games at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Hawaii was a member of the Big West Conference, and participated in their 9th season in that league. Previous season The Rainbow Warriors finished the 2019–20 season 17–13, 8–8 in Big West play to finish fourth place. However, they were unable to play a single game in the Big West Conference tournament due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Eran Ganot
Eran Ganot (born September 8, 1981) is an American college basketball head coach for the University of Hawaii men's team. In 2015–16, his first season as head coach at Hawaii, he earned Big West Coach of the Year accolades. Early and personal life Ganot was born in Brooklyn, and raised in his hometown of Tenafly, New Jersey. He is Jewish. His father immigrated to the United States from Romania, and his mother immigrated to the US from Israel. He has a twin brother, named Asaf, a high-end fashion designer, and two sisters, Dani and Betty. Ganot attended Tenafly High School, graduating in 1999. Playing for his high school basketball team, he was a two-time all-league first-team selection, and was named all-county as a senior. Owen Hulland
Owen Hulland (born 4 September 1999) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Forestville Eagles of NBL1 Central. He played college basketball for the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. Born in Adelaide, South Australia, Hulland attended UC Senior Secondary College Lake Ginninderra in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. He played in the South East Australian Basketball League (SEABL) for Basketball Australia's Centre of Excellence for two years. Hulland committed to play for the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors in 2017. He suffered from a foot injury that limited him to only eight games as a freshman during the 2018–19 season. Hulland scored 14 points against the UCLA Bruins on 28 November 2018. He underwent foot surgery before the start of the 2019–20 season that caused him to miss 17 games. The Utah Valley Wolverines men's basketball team is the basketball team that represents Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Western Athletic Conference. Seasons # Before 2003 Utah Valley State College was a Junior College. They received approval to begin transition to D1 status in Spring 2003. The San Diego Toreros men's basketball team is a college basketball team that represents the University of San Diego in San Diego, California. The school's team currently competes in the West Coast Conference (WCC). The team played in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2008. The Toreros play their home games in the Jenny Craig Pavilion, and their head coach is Steve Lavin. They won their first WCC title in 1983–84, when the conference was known as the West Coast Athletic Conference. The Missouri State Bears basketball team is the NCAA Division I men's basketball program of Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. The Bears compete in the Missouri Valley Conference.
