2020–21 Danish 1st Division
The 2020–21 Danish 1st Division season is the 25th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. From this season a promotion round for the six best placed teams and a relegation round for the six lowest placed teams are introduced. The top two teams of the promotion round are promoted to the 2021–22 Danish Superliga. The teams in 11th and 12th places are relegated to the 2021–22 Danish 2nd Division. Participants Silkeborg IF, and Esbjerg fB finished last in the 2019–20 Danish Superliga relegation play-off and were relegated to the 1st Division. Hobro IK lost to Lyngby Boldklub in the relegation play off and was relegated as well. Vejle Boldklub was promoted to the 2020–21 Danish Superliga. Nykøbing FC, FC Roskilde and Næstved BK were relegated to the 2020–21 Danish 2nd Divisions. 2019–20 Danish 1st Division
The 2019–20 Danish 1st Division season was the 24th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. The division-champion was promoted to the 2020–21 Danish Superliga. The teams in 10th, 11th and 12th places were relegated to the 2020–21 Danish 2nd Divisions. The reason for this change in promotion and relegation spots was that the Danish Superliga was reduced to 12 teams following this season. Participants Vejle Boldklub finished last in the 2018–19 Danish Superliga relegation play-off and were relegated to the 1st Division after only one season in the first tier. Vendsyssel FF lost to Lyngby Boldklub in the relegation play off and were relegated as well. Silkeborg IF and Lyngby Boldklub were promoted to the 2019–20 Danish Superliga. FC Helsingør
FC Helsingør is a Danish football club from Helsingør. The club plays in the Danish 1st Division, having been promoted after winning the Danish 2nd Division in the 2019-2020 season. The club has finished the last two seasons in the top 4 of the Danish 1st Division. History The club was formed on 1 August 2005 when the five Elsinore clubs ''Helsingør IF'', ''Helsingør FC'', ''Frem Hellebæk IF'', ''Vapnagaard FK72'' and ''Snekkersten IF'' merged under the name Elite 3000 Fodbold. Grass
Poaceae () or Gramineae () is a large and nearly ubiquitous family of monocotyledonous flowering plants commonly known as grasses. Blue Water Arena
The Esbjerg Stadium ( da, Esbjerg Stadion), known as the Blue Water Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium located within Esbjerg Idrætspark in Esbjerg, Denmark. It is the home ground of Esbjerg fB and has a capacity of 16,942, of which 11,451 is seated. It is currently the second-biggest stadium in Jutland, and the fourth-biggest in Denmark. In 1999, the stadium was venue of the football tournament at the European Youth Olympic Festival. Viborg Fodsports Forening ("Viborg Footsport Association"), or Viborg F.F. and VFF for short, is a Danish professional football club based in Viborg. The club was founded in 1896 and waited more than a century before winning its only national trophy, the 2000 Danish Cup. Vendsyssel Forenede Fodboldklubber is a professional football club based in Hjørring, Denmark. The team competes in the Danish 1st Division, the second tier of Danish football. Kolding IF is an association football club based in Kolding, Denmark. The team competes in the Danish 2nd Division, the third tier of Danish football, after suffering relegation at the end of the 2020–21 season. Founded in 1895, Kolding IF played in the top-flight 1982 and 1983 Danish 1st Division championships. In 2002, they joined forces with Kolding Boldklub, the other major football club in Kolding, to form the cooperative Kolding FC first team. HB Køge () is a professional Danish football club based primarily in the town of Herfølge, and secondly in the town of Køge, both in the Køge Municipality, part of 'Region of Zealand', in the eastern part of Zealand, south of Copenhagen. It was created through the merger of Herfølge Boldklub and Køge Boldklub in 2009.
