Skive Idræts Klub, commonly known as Skive IK, SIK (especially locally) or simply Skive, is a Danish professional football club based in Skive, Central Denmark Region. Founded in 1901, the club is affiliated with the DBU Jutland association and play their home games at Hancock Arena. The club colours are yellow and blue. History Historically, Skive are a lower division team, who, in recent years have performed above their expectations with a solid place in the second-tier Danish 1st Division. Their best result came in the 2010–11 season, where they finished fourth in the 1st Division. Skive Stadium (Danish: Skive Stadion) is an athletics- and association football stadium located in Skive, Denmark, owned and operated by Skive Municipality. It is currently used mostly for association football matches and is the home stadium of Skive Idrætsklub (association football) and Skive Atletik- og Motionsklub (athletics). The 2007–08 Danish Cup was the 54th version of the Danish Cup. The first round were played about August 7 and the final was played on May 1. The winner qualified for the UEFA Cup. Peter Møller
Peter Møller Nielsen (born 23 March 1972) is a Danish former professional football player who became a sports journalist after ending his football career in December 2005. In 2018 he became sporting director of Dansk Boldspil Union. He won four Danish Superliga championships for the rival clubs Brøndby IF and F.C. Copenhagen, and became the most scoring Superliga player ever in 2005. He scored five goals in 20 matches for the Denmark national football team, and took part in the 1998 FIFA World Cup. The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. Jakob Saldern Stein Michelsen (born 30 September 1980) is a Danish football manager. He is currently the manager of Norwegian Eliteserien club HamKam. Jakob Michelsen was selected coach of the year in Denmark in 2015. He was the coach behind the sensational silver medals for SønderjyskE in 2016 and the good run in Euro League for the club. Martin Thomsen (born 6 August 1982) is a Danish professional football manager and former player, who is the current head coach of Danish 1st Division club Hobro IK. Playing career Thomsen started his career playing for Valsgård IF 83, before joining his hometown side Hobro IK. Viborg FF quickly caught notion of the midfielder, and he signed a three-year contract at the Superliga team. Thomsen only played nine minutes altogether in the Superliga, as a substitute against F.C. Copenhagen on 21 July 2001. In the summer of 2003 he was loaned to Skive IK on a one-year basis.
