2020–21 Arizona Wildcats Women's Basketball Team
The 2020–21 Arizona Wildcats women's basketball team represented University of Arizona during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Wildcats, led by fifth-year head coach Adia Barnes, play their home games at the McKale Center and are members of the Pac-12 Conference. The Wildcats finished the season second behind Stanford in the Pacific-12 conference with a 13–4 record. They advanced to the semifinals of the 2021 Pac-12 women's tournament where they lost to no. 9 ranked UCLA and As a no. 3 seed in the NCAA tournament where they defeated Stony Brook and BYU in the first and second rounds, no. 4 ranked Texas A&M in the Sweet Sixteen, they won their region with a win over no. 12 ranked Indiana in the first-ever Elite Eight, knocked off no. 1 ranked UConn in the first-ever Final Four. Adia Barnes
Adia Oshun Barnes (born February 3, 1977) is an American basketball coach and former player. She is currently the head coach of the University of Arizona Wildcats women's basketball. She played at the collegiate level for the University of Arizona, and played seven seasons in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) with the Houston Comets, Seattle Storm, Minnesota Lynx, and Sacramento Monarchs. She has played internationally with Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine. Barnes has also served as a TV color analyst for Seattle Storm game broadcasts. Early years Barnes grew up in San Diego, California and attended Mission Bay Senior High School in San Diego. She is the daughter of NFL player Pete Barnes. He and Adia's mother divorced when she was three. 2020 Women's National Invitation Tournament
The 2020 Women's National Invitation Tournament was to be an annual single-elimination tournament of 64 NCAA Division I basketball teams that were not selected to participate in the 2020 Women's NCAA tournament. The tournament committee was to announce the 64-team field on March 16, following the selection of the NCAA Tournament field. The tournament was set to begin on March 18, 2020, and end on April 4, 2020, with the championship game televised on the CBS Sports Network. As with all tournaments, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, games were to be held behind closed doors. On March 12, 2020, the NCAA canceled the tournament. West Linn High School is a public high school in West Linn, Oregon, United States. It is one of two high schools in the West Linn-Wilsonville School District, the other being Wilsonville High School. Academics In 1984, West Linn High School was honored in the Blue Ribbon Schools Program, the highest honor a school can receive in the United States. In 2008, 93% of the school's seniors received their high school diploma. Of 373 students, 346 graduated, 18 dropped out, 6 received a modified diploma, and 3 are still in high school. West Linn is a city in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States. A southern suburb within the Portland metropolitan area, West Linn developed on the site of the former Linn City, which was named after U.S. Senator Lewis F. Linn of Ste. Century High School (CHS) is a public high school located in Bismarck, North Dakota. It serves 1,346 students and is part of the Bismarck Public Schools system. The principal is Steve Madler.
