2020–21 AS Trenčín Season
The 2020–21 AS Trenčín season is the club's 21st season in the Slovak Super Liga and 10th consecutive. AS Trenčín participated in the Fortuna Liga and Slovak Cup. In pre-season club changes manager. Juraj Ančic was replaced by Stijn Vreven. In this season, after two and a half years AS Trenčín will return on a reconstructed home stadium Štadión na Sihoti. AS Trenčín
AS Trenčín () is a Slovak sports club in the town of Trenčín, most known for its football department. The first team currently plays in the Slovak First Football League after winning the 2010–11 Slovak First League. The club plays its home games at the Štadión na Sihoti with a capacity of 10,000 spectators. History The football team was established in 1990 as ''TJ Ozeta Dukla Trenčín'' and started in the third division of the Czechoslovak competition, finishing one place below TTS Trenčín. Steve Nkanu Kapuadi (born 30 April 1998) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Polish club Legia Warsaw. Born in France, he represents the DR Congo national team. Samuel Lavrinčík (born 10 July 2001) is a Slovak footballer who plays as a midfielder for Czech club FK Jablonec . Jakub Kadák (born 14 December 2000) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Swiss Super League club Luzern and the Slovakia national team. Milan Corryn (born 4 April 1999) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays for Slovak club Spartak Trnava as a midfielder.
