Tony Vitello (born October 9, 1978) is an American college baseball coach and former infielder. Vitello played college baseball at the University of Missouri from 2001 to 2002 under head coach Tim Jamieson and was the former lead RISP strategist for the Washington Nationals. Kodak, Tennessee
Kodak is an unincorporated community and a neighborhood of Sevierville in Sevier County, Tennessee, United States. It is located along State Highway 139 and State Highway 66, and just south of I-40 and Knoxville, Tennessee. The elevation of Kodak is about above sea level. Kodak is included in Sevierville's urban growth boundary for future annexation. History Kodak was named in 1892 when the local postmaster, Harvey N. Underwood, learned of the new "Kodak" brand of camera. Underwood decided that this was a name that was easy to remember and spell, hence he sought permission from the founder of Eastman Kodak, George Eastman, to use this name for his village and its post office. Smokies Stadium
Smokies Stadium (formerly known as Smokies Park) is a baseball stadium located in Kodak, Tennessee, just north of Sevierville and east of Knoxville, adjacent to the tourist centers of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The park, which opened in 2000, has a capacity of 6,412. It is the home of the Tennessee Smokies of the Southern League. Smokies Park was constructed as a replacement facility for the since shuttered Bill Meyer Stadium in Knoxville. Features Just like the playing field, the grandstand is symmetrical and it extends well down the outfield lines, where stadium-style seats give way to bleachers with backs. All chair back seats contain cup holders and are painted dark green. The park has 18 suites located above the seating bowl. Founders Park, formerly known as Carolina Stadium, is a stadium in Columbia, South Carolina on the banks of the Congaree River. The facility was built for a cost of $35.6 million and is used for college baseball as home to the University of South Carolina Gamecocks baseball team. Facility overview The dimensions of the field are down the right and left-field lines and to dead center, matching those of Sarge Frye Field, the previous home stadium of the Gamecocks. The 2020 Stanford Cardinal baseball team represents Stanford University in the 2020 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Cardinal play their home games at Klein Field at Sunken Diamond under third year coach David Esquer.
