The 2020 Super2 Series was an Australian motor racing competition for Supercars, which was staged as a support series to the 2020 Supercars Championship. It was the twenty-first running of the Supercars Development Series, the second tier of competition in Supercars racing. Super2 Series
The Dunlop Super2 Series (formerly known as Dunlop Series, Fujitsu V8 Supercars Series, HPDC V8 Supercars Series, Konica Minolta V8 Supercars Series and Konica V8 Supercars/Lites Series) is an Australian touring car racing competition, specifically the second tier series for Supercars competitors. Competing vehicles are older than those utilised in the Supercars Championship series and are usually run by smaller teams with lower budgets. The series is a critical stepping stone in driver development, the pathway to the Repco Supercars Championship and a place where young drivers can hone their skills and showcase their talent in front of the championship teams. Kurt Kostecki
Kurt Kostecki (born 4 July 1998) is an Australian racing driver currently competing in the Dunlop Super2 Series in the No. 55 Holden VF Commodore for Kostecki Brothers Racing. He is also co-driving in the Pirtek Enduro Cup alongside Jake Kostecki in the No. 56 Ford Mustang GT for Tickford Racing. Kostecki Brothers Racing is an Australian motor racing team which is currently competing in the Dunlop Super2 Series. The team enters a Holden VF Commodore for Kurt Kostecki. The team was formed in 2015 to run a car in the Kumho Tyre Series for Jake Kostecki Super 2 Series For 2016 the team debuted in the Dunlop Super 2 Series, entering a pair of VF Commodores built by Triple Eight Race Engineering for brothers Jake & Kurt Kostecki. Both drivers struggled all season with Kurt finishing 16th in the championship after missing the Townsville round due to his Supercars Championship debut with Team 18. William Brown (born 5 June 1998) is an Australian racing driver currently competing in the Repco Supercars Championship with Erebus Motorsport, driving the No. 9 Holden ZB Commodore. Jack 'Perko' Perkins (born 22 August 1986) is an Australian motor racing driver who competes in the Pirtek Enduro Cup. He currently co-drives with Will Brown in the No. 9 Holden ZB Commodore for Erebus Motorsport.
