Dmitrov
Dmitrov ( rus, Дмитров, p=ˈdmʲitrəf) is a town and the administrative center of Dmitrovsky District in Moscow Oblast, Russia, located to the north of Moscow on the Yakhroma River and the Moscow Canal. Population: History Dmitrov is one of the oldest urban areas in Moscow oblast. The town was originally founded by Yury Dolgoruky in 1154, where his son Vsevolod was born. Its name is explained by the fact that Vsevolod's patron saint was St. Demetrius. Evgeny Valeryevich Arkhipov (russian: Евгений Валерьевич Архипов; born January 4, 1992) is a Russian curler from Moscow. He currently skips the Russian national curling team and skips a different rink on the World Curling Tour. Arkhipov played on the Russian national junior team from 2011 to 2013, skipping the team from 2012 to 2013. The team, which also consisted of Sergey Glukhov, Dmitry Mironov and Artur Ali qualified for the 2013 World Junior Curling Championships where they won a silver medal. Daria Vladimirovna Morozova (russian: Дарья Владимировна Морозова; born in Moscow 22 January 1997) is a Russian competitive ice dancer. With former partner Mikhail Zhirnov, she is the 2014 JGP Slovenia champion. Career Morozova started skating in 2001. She began competing with Mikhail Zhirnov in the 2008–09 season.
