2020 Primera B Nacional
The 2020 Argentine Primera Nacional, also known as the 2020 Campeonato de Transición Primera Nacional, was the 36th season of the Primera Nacional, the second tier of Argentine football. The season began on 28 November 2020 and concluded on 31 January 2021. The competition was contested by the thirty-two teams that took part in the 2019–20 season, which was suspended and subsequently abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Format The competition was split into two stages: ''First Promotion'' and ''Second Promotion'', which in turn, were split into two groups according to the groupings and placements of teams in the previous season. The top eight teams of each group at the time of suspension of the previous season played in the First Promotion stage, where they were split into two groups, while the remaining eight teams from each group played in the first round of the Second Promotion stage. Primera B Nacional
Primera Nacional (usually called simply Nacional B, in English "National B Division", and known as Primera B Nacional until the 2019–20 season) is the second division of the Argentine football league system. The competition is made up of 37 teams. It is played by teams from all over the country. Clubs from Buenos Aires surroundings, as well as some from Santa Fe Province, are promoted from or relegated to the Primera B Metropolitana ("Metropolitan B Division") while for teams from the other provinces the Torneo Federal A ("Federal A Tournament") is the next level down. Club Social y Atlético Guillermo Brown, mostly known as Guillermo Brown or Brown de Puerto Madryn, is an Argentine sports club from Puerto Madryn in Chubut Province. Club Atlético Gimnasia y Esgrima (usually known as Gimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza) is an Argentine football club located in the city of Mendoza. 2021 Argentine Primera División
The 2021 Argentine Primera División - Liga Profesional (officially the Torneo Socios.com for sponsorship reasons) was the 131st season of top-flight professional football in Argentina. The league season began on 16 July and ended on 13 December 2021. Twenty-six teams competed in the league: the 24 teams that took part in the previous Primera División season as well as two promoted teams from the 2020 Primera Nacional ( Sarmiento (J) and Platense).
