Pido Jarencio
Alfredo Lorenzo Mendoza Jarencio (born September 5, 1964) is a Filipino basketball coach and former professional basketball player who is the head coach for the NorthPort Batang Pier of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was the head coach of the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers Senior men's collegiate basketball team of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines from 2006 to 2013. Known as "the Fireman" when he was actively playing in the PBA, he distinguished himself as one of the league's best three-point shooters, especially in clutch situations. Early life Jarencio hails from Sigma, Capiz, where his father, Benedicto Mariveles Jarencio, a civil engineer, ran a construction business. Sean Anthony (basketball)
Sean Michael Dee Anthony (born January 26, 1986) is a Filipino-Canadian professional basketball player for the NLEX Road Warriors of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was drafted sixth overall in 2010 by the Air21 Express but was immediately shipped to the Powerade Tigers on draft night. In his rookie year, he won the Rookie Sophomore Blitz game MVP. College Sean Anthony finished his varsity career at McGill where he was a physical education major. At McGill, Anthony had a reputation as a defensive stopper and slasher. Jervy Cruz
Jervy A. Cruz (born September 9, 1986) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the NorthPort Batang Pier of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). A former Most Valuable Player in the UAAP, Cruz was one of the reasons why the UST Growling Tigers pulled off an upset over heavily favored Ateneo Blue Eagles in the 2006 UAAP finals. Tabbed fifth overall in the rookie draft, Rain or Shine got a legitimate inside threat and eased the burden on Jay-R Reyes in that aspect. Cruz is undersized for his position but he has the skills to become efficient. He also has a decent outside shot. Cruz was the third youngest player in the 2009-10 PBA season at only 23 years of age. He played 45 games and he averaged 6.4 points per game, 0.2 blocks per game, and 4.4 rebounds per game. Juan Nicholas V. "Nico" Elorde (born 4 October 1991) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the GenSan Warriors of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). Early life Nico is third the son of Johnny Elorde, a boxing promoter in the Philippines and the grandson of Gabriel Elorde. His two older brothers Juan Martin Elorde and Juan Miguel Elorde are both professional boxers. Kelly Nabong
Kelly Berry Nabong (born November 17, 1988) is a Filipino-American basketball player for the Blackwater Bossing of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was selected 17th overall in the 2012 PBA draft by the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. He would be later traded to the Meralco Bolts on draft night. Kevin Manuel Ferrer (born March 26, 1993) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Terrafirma Dyip of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). High school career Ferrer played for the Tiger Cubs from 2009 up to 2010. In his rookie season with the Tiger Cubs, Ferrer was crowned the Junior's Rookie of the Year. Ferrer along with season MVP Ron Javier led the Tigers into a second-place finish at the end of the eliminations. Unfortunately, the Tiger Cubs were eliminated by the Kiefer Ravena-led Ateneo Blue Eaglets squad in the Final Four despite having a twice-to-beat advantage against the Eaglets. Garvo A. Lanete (born February 13, 1989) is a Filipino former professional basketball player. He previously played in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) for three teams. College career Lanete studied and played with San Beda Red Lions from 2007 to 2012. He led the Red Lions when they won 4 out of 5 championships. He played his last game with the Red Lions in their 57–55 win over the San Sebastian Stags. Amateur career Lanete played for the San Beda-Maynilad Water Dragons in the opener of the PBA D-League.
