2020 Men's Hockey Junior Asia Cup
The 2021 Men's Hockey Junior Asia Cup was scheduled to be the 9th edition of the Men's Hockey Junior Asia Cup, the men's international under-21 field hockey championship of Asia organized by the Asian Hockey Federation. It was originally scheduled to take place from 4 to 12 June 2020 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The tournament served as the Asian qualifier for the 2021 Men's FIH Junior World Cup, 2021 FIH Junior World Cup, with the top four qualifying. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the tournament was postponed on 26 March 2020 to a yet to be determined date. In September 2020 it was announced that the tournament would take place from 21 to 30 January 2021. The tournament was postponed for the second time in November 2020 to July 2021. On 13 August 2021 the tournament as officially cancelled after it was again rescheduled. The 2021 Women's Hockey Junior Asia Cup was scheduled to be the eighth edition of the Women's Hockey Junior Asia Cup. The tournament was scheduled to be held in Kakamigahara, Japan from 6 to 12 April 2020. In March 2020 it was announced that the tournament would be postponed due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. On 27 October 2020 it was announced the tournament would be held from 16 to 22 August 2021. On 13 August 2021, the tournament was officially cancelled. China were the defending champions. The tournament served as the Asian qualifier for the 2021 FIH Junior World Cup, with the top three qualifying. After the cancellation the Asian Hockey Federation selected China, India and Japan as the Asian representatives at the 2021 Junior World Cup. The 2019 Men's Junior AHF Cup was the fifth edition of the Men's Junior AHF Cup, the qualification tournament for the Men's Hockey Junior Asia Cup organized by the Asian Hockey Federation. It was held at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat, Oman from 5 to 14 December 2019. The top four teams qualified for the 2021 Junior Asia Cup. The 2015 Men's Junior Asia Cup was the 8th edition of Men's Hockey Junior Asia Cup. It was held from 14 to 22 November 2015 at the Wisma Belia Hockey Stadium in Kuantan, Malaysia.
