2020 FC Kairat Season
The 2020 FC Kairat season is the 10th successive season that the club will play in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan, since their promotion back to the top flight in 2009. Kairat will also play in the Kazakhstan Cup and the Europa League. Season events On 11 January, Kairat announced the signing of Kamo Hovhannisyan to a two-year contract. On 19 January, Kairat announced the signing of Jacek Góralski to a three-year contract. On 27 January, Kairat announced the signing of Gulzhigit Alykulov on a two-year contract, with the option of a third, and the signing of Abat Aimbetov to a one-year contract, with the option of a second. On 3 February, Danil Ustimenko extended his contract with Kairat until the end of the 2024 season, Adam Adakhadzhiev and Vyacheslav Shvyrev extended their contracts until the end of the 2023 season and Artur Shushenachev extended his contract until the end of the 2022 season. Football Club Kairat ( kk, Qaırat Fýtbol Klýby) is a professional association football, football club based in Almaty, which plays in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest level of Football in Kazakhstan, Kazakh football. Founded in 1954 as Lokomotiv Alma-Ata, they became Urozhay in 1955 and Kairat in 1956. The club's home ground is the Central Stadium (Almaty), Central Stadium which has a capacity of 23,804. The club's home kit colours are yellow and black striped shirts, black shorts and black socks. Kairat was the leading Kazakh club during the Soviet period and the only representative of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic in the Soviet Top League. Dino Mikanović (born 7 May 1994) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for HNK Hajduk Split in the Croatian First League. Club career Born in Nova Gradiška but hailing from the village of Podvrško, Mikanović started his youth career at the nearby NK Mladost Cernik. Rade Dugalić (, ; born 5 November 1992) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Chinese Super League club Meizhou Hakka.
