2020 Copa Verde
The 2020 Copa Verde was the seventh edition of the football competition held in Brazil. Featuring 24 clubs, Acre, Amazonas, Distrito Federal, Espírito Santo, Mato Grosso do Sul and Pará have two vacancies; Amapá, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins with one each. The others six berths was set according to CBF ranking. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the tournament was rescheduled, starting only on 20 January 2021 and ending on 24 February 2021. In the finals, Brasiliense defeated Remo 5–4 on penalties after tied 3–3 on aggregate to win their first title and a place in the third round of the 2021 Copa do Brasil. Brasiliense Futebol Clube, commonly referred to as Brasiliense, is a Brazilian professional club based in Taguatinga, Distrito Federal founded on 1 August 2000. Rondônia () is one of the 26 states of Brazil, located in the northern subdivision of the country (central-western part). The Campeonato Amapaense, commonly known simply as Amapazão, is the football league of the State of Amapá, Brazil. It is organized by the Amapá State Football Federation. Format First Stage *Standard round-robin, in which all teams play each other once. *Single leg playoff between the top 2 teams. The winner of this playoff qualifies for the championship final. Santos Futebol Clube, also known as Santos-AP () or simply Santos, is a Brazilian professional football club based in Macapá, Amapá. Rio Branco Football Club, commonly referred to as Rio Branco, is a Brazilian professional club based in Rio Branco, Acre founded on 8 June 1919. It competes in the Campeonato Acreano, the top flight of the Acre state football league. It is the most successful club in Acre, having won a record 47 state titles, 31 of those being won in the amateur era. Rio Branco also took part in the national league in 21 seasons, the most of any club from the state. 2021 Copa Do Brasil
The 2021 Copa do Brasil (officially the Copa Intelbras do Brasil 2021 for sponsorship reasons) was the 33rd edition of the Copa do Brasil football competition. It was held between 9 March and 15 December 2021. The competition was contested by 92 teams, either qualified by participating in their respective state championships (70), by the 2021 CBF ranking (10), by the 2020 Copa do Nordeste (1), by the 2020 Copa Verde (1), by the 2020 Série B (1), by the 2020 Série A (1) or those qualified for 2021 Copa Libertadores (8). Atlético Mineiro defeated Athletico Paranaense 6–1 on aggregate in the finals to win their second title.
