2020 1. Divisjon (women)
The 2020 1. divisjon was the 36th season of the 1. divisjon, the second-tier Norwegian women's football division, and the 19th season under the current format. The season started on 11 July 2020 and ended on 22 November 2020 Stabæk won the league and were thus promoted to the Toppserien. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the season's starting date was delayed and the format changed, there will be no play-offs this season. Starting from 2021 the league will assume a new format. Format The teams were reduced from 12 teams to 10 as four teams relegated from the previous season, Grand Bodø were relegated after losing to KIL/Hemne at the relegation play-offs. In addition, Stabæk and Fart were relegated from the 2019 Toppserien. The winner will be promoted to the 2021 Toppserien automatically while the second placed team will enter a play-off with the 2020 Toppserien best relegating team, there would be no relegation this season. 2020 In Norwegian Football
The 2020 season was the 115th season of competitive association football, football in Norway. The season was originally scheduled to start on 4 April, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Norway the football season was delayed. On 7 May 2020, the Norwegian government allowed the league to start on 16 June 2020. The men's 3. divisjon and women's 2. divisjon (women), 2. divisjon, along with all other lower divisions, were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 Norwegian Football Cup, men's football cup was also cancelled. Cathrine Dyngvold (born 17 April 1989) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a forward for 1. divisjon club Amazon Grimstad. Strømmen is a town in Lillestrøm municipality, Viken county, Norway. It is about twenty kilometers east of Oslo, and considered part of Greater Oslo. It has around 11,400 residents. Kolbotn IL Fotball is a sub-section under the sports club Kolbotn IL from Kolbotn, Norway. The club started football in 1916 and organized football as a semi-autonomous sub-section in 1960. Medkila IL is a football team from Harstad in North Norway, most notable for its women's football team which is playing in the 1. divisjon, the second tier of Norwegian women's football. Medkila first came to prominence after winning the 2003 Norwegian Women's Cup while playing in the First Division. Medkila knocked out Leknes FK (1-10), Grand Bodø (1-5), IF Fløya (2-1), IL Sandviken (6-1) and Team Strømmen (1-3), and beat Kolbotn (2-1) in the final. That same year they were promoted to Toppserien for the first time. Medkila couldn't avoid relegation in their first season in top-flight and were back in 1. divisjon for the 2005 season.
