2019–20 Victoria Libertas Pesaro Season
The 2019–20 season is Victoria Libertas Pesaro's 74th in existence and the club's 13th consecutive season in the top flight of Italian basketball. Overview For the 2019-20 season, Pesaro entrusts the team to the young and promising coach Federico Perego, coming from a 5 years experience in the German Basketball Bundesliga as assistant coach of Brose Bamberg and head coach in the second half of his last year. But the season has an horrible start with a streak of 10 consecutive losses that forces the team to replace Perego with Giancarlo Sacco. Sacco's nomination is a comeback as he started his coaching career with Pesaro in 1984 until 1987 and again as head coach in the 1998–99 season. However, even with the new coach, Pesaro did not manage to interrupt the losing streak until the first match of the second half of the season against Fortitudo Bologna, after 16 consecutive losses. Victoria Libertas (also known as "VL" or in Italian ''Vuelle''), full name Unione Sportiva Victoria Libertas Pallacanestro, is a professional basketball team that is based in Pesaro, Italy. Troy Williams (born December 30, 1994) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Blackwater Bossing of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He previously attended and played college basketball for Indiana. High school career Williams played his first three seasons at Phoebus High School in Hampton, Virginia before transferring to Oak Hill Academy for his senior season. Okapi Aalst is a Belgian professional basketball club from Aalst, Belgium. The club competes in the top tier BNXT League and plays its home games in the Okapi Forum, which has a seating capacity of 2,800 people. Paul Herman Eboua (born 15 February 2000) is a Cameroonian-Italian professional basketball player for Vanoli Cremona of the Italian Serie A2. Early life and career Eboua was born in Yaoundé, Cameroon but grew up in Douala. He started playing basketball at age 14 while attending Lycée de Makepe in Douala. Aurora Basket Jesi is an Italian professional basketball club based in Jesi. It plays in the second division Serie A2 as of the 2015-16 season. History In 1965, Gianni Rossetti (a television journalist for RAI), Carlo Barchiesi (current president) and Primo Novelli (then responsible for the club's junior sides) helped form Aurora Basket Jesi along with president Mario Gherardi.
