2019–20 Segunda División Pro (women)
The 2019–20 Segunda División Pro, named Reto Iberdrola for sponsorship reasons, was the inaugural season edition of the new Spanish women's football second-tier league. The league started on 7 September 2019 and will end on 17 May 2020. On 6 May 2020, the Royal Spanish Football Federation announced the premature end of the league, revoking relegations and naming Eibar and Santa Teresa as promoted teams. Teams and locations 32 teams took part, 30 moving up from the 2018–19 Segunda División and 2 relegated from the 2018–19 Primera División. Atlántida Matamá resigned to its place in the league. Sporting Gijón occupied its place as the next qualified team in their group from the previous season. Deportivo Alavés, S.A.D. Lleida
Lleida (, ; Spanish: Lérida ) is a city in the west of Catalonia, Spain. It is the capital city of the province of Lleida. Geographically, it is located in the Catalan Central Depression. Sporting De Gijón
Real Sporting de Gijón, S.A.D. (), commonly known as Real Sporting, Sporting Gijón, or simply Sporting (although in an international context this can lead to confusion with Sporting Clube de Portugal) is a Spanish football club from Gijón, Principality of Asturias. Founded on 1 July 1905, it plays in La Liga Santander. The 2018–19 Primera División Femenina de Fútbol was the 31st edition of Spain's highest women's football league. The season started on 3 September 2018 and ended on 11 May 2019. Zaragoza Club de Fútbol Femenino, formerly known as ''Club Deportivo Transportes Alcaine'' for sponsorship reasons, is a Spanish women's football team from Zaragoza playing in Segunda División Pro. History Zaragoza CFF was founded in 2002 after carrier company Transportes Alcaine bought Inter Aragón, which played in the lower categories. In 2005 the new team promoted to Superliga Femenina, the Spanish top league. After Grupo Prainsa became the main sponsor in 2007 and renamed the club as Prainsa Zaragoza, the main team consolidated itself in the first half of the table. Real Sporting de Gijón Femenino is the women's Association football, football team of Asturias, Asturian football club Sporting de Gijón.
