The 2019–20 Liga IV Bihor was the 52nd season of the Liga IV Bihor, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 24 August 2019 and was ended officially on 23 May 2020, after it was suspended since 7 March 2020, due to COVID-19 pandemic, 2019–20 COVID-19 pandemic. Liga IV Bihor is the county association football, football division of Liga IV for clubs based in Bihor County, România. The competition is ranked as the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system and it is competed between 16 teams, the winner may or may not be promoted to Liga III, depending on the result of a promotion play-off that is disputed against a winner of the neighboring counties series. History In 1968, along with the territorial reorganization of the country, but also due to the large number of requests, the Romanian Football Federation proposes a competitive system in which each county has its own football championship, which will activate the former teams in the regional championship as well as the racing and town championship teams from the previous edition. 2019–20 Liga IV Cluj
The 2019–20 Liga IV Cluj was the 52nd season of the Liga IV Cluj, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 6 September 2019 The season was interrupted on 9 March 2020, after 15 rounds, due to COVID-19 pandemic. After three months of inactivity, on 17 June 2020, the AJF Cluj (County Football Association) announced that a promotion play-off tournament between the first 3 ranked teams (after 15 rounds) will be played to decide the county champion and the team that will qualify for the promotion play-off to Liga III. The season was ended officially on 26 July 2020 and Someșul Dej was crowned as county champion. 2019–20 Liga IV Satu Mare
The 2019–20 Liga IV Satu Mare was the 52nd season of Liga IV Satu Mare, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 23 August 2019 and was scheduled to end in June 2020, but was suspended in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania. On 2 June 2020, AJF Satu Mare (County Football Association) announced that a promotion play-off tournament between the first 2 ranked teams in each zones will be played to decide the county champion and the team that will qualify for the promotion play-off to Liga III. The season was ended officially on 24 July 2020 when AJF Satu Mare concluded that the teams cannot comply with the conditions imposed by the medical protocol and decided to declare Satu Mare the county champion and the team that qualify at the promotion play-off. 2019–20 Liga IV
The 2019–20 Liga IV was the 78th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The champions of each county association play against one from a neighboring county in a playoff to gain promotion. This had to be the third season when the counties were divided into 7 regions, each consisting of 6 counties and the draw was made on 15 February 2019, with 4 months before the first matches. In the spring of 2020, most of the county leagues were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 11 May 2020, the Romanian Football Federation announced that the promotion format will be changed, especially due to the fact that no team (apart from the teams that were already excluded or dissolved) relegated from Liga III. Clubul Sportiv Orășenesc Ștei, commonly known as CSO Ștei, or simply as Ștei, is a Romanian football club based in Ștei, Bihor County. The club was founded in 2010 to continue the long history of football in town, history that was near the end with the bankruptcy of the more known ''Minerul Ștei'' and ''Oțelul Ștei''. History The town of Ștei is a relatively young one, being founded only in 1952, near the former village, which had the same name. Clubul Sportiv Oșorhei is a Romanian professional football club from Oșorhei, Bihor County, founded in 2000. The team currently plays in Liga IV. History Founded in 2000 as Tricolorul Alparea, the club played for 12 years at amateur level, in Liga IV – Bihor County, until their promotion to Liga III in 2012 after a play-off match, against Someşul Cărăşeu, won with the score of 1–0. CSC Crișul Sântandrei
Club Sportiv Comunal Crișul Sântandrei, commonly known as Crișul Sântandrei, or simply as Sântandrei, is a Romanian football club based in Sântandrei, Bihor County, currently playing in the Liga III. Crișul Sântandrei was founded on in 2009 to continue the tradition of the old local football club, Recolta Sântandrei. Crișul played for most of its existence at the amateur level, in the Liga IV, after its promotion from Liga V, in 2011. The team was known at local level for its notable results, but also for its bad luck, "the white and blues" finishing five times in the 2nd place. Its location, in the Oradea metropolitan area, ensured in the last decade a fast grow for the commune of Sântandrei, demographic and financial. Finally, Crișul won Liga IV Bihor at the end of the 2022–23 season, breaking the 2nd place curse.
