Höljesbanan
Höljesbanan, also known as Höljes Motorstadion, is a rallycross circuit situated in the village of Höljes, in the Finnskogen ('Finnwoods') of the Swedish county Värmland, beside the river Klarälven and close to the Norwegian border. The circuit opened in February 1976 and is one of the most famous rallycross circuits in the world. Traditionally held over the first weekend of July the venue plays host to the so-called 'Magic Weekend' of rallycross when it runs the Swedish round of the European and World Rallycross championships. History The circuit was originally part of a go-kart centre opened in 1972 by the Finnskoga Motorklubb following the influx of Swedish drivers into Formula One, but quickly fell into disuse and it was decided the nearby gravel pit was to be turned into a rallycross circuit in October 1974. Timmy Hansen
Kenneth Timmy Hansen (born 21 May 1992) is a rallycross driver from Sweden. He won the 2019 FIA World Rallycross Championship in the FIA World Rallycross Championship, driving for Team Peugeot-Hansen. His father is the 14-times European Rallycross Champion Kenneth Hansen, his mother the 1994 ERA European Cup (Group N up to 1400cc) winner Susann Hansen (née Bergvall), and his brother rallycross driver Kevin Hansen. Anton Marklund (born 9 December 1992) is a Swedish racing driver who won the 2017 FIA European Rallycross Championship. He has competed most of his career for his father's team Marklund Motorsport. Career Marklund entered five rounds of the 2011 European Rallycross Championship for Marklund Motorsport with a Ford Fiesta TouringCar, scoring a third-place finish at Sweden. In the 2011 European Rallycross Championship he scored two wins and six second-place finishes, claiming the TouringCar title. For the 2013 European Rallycross Championship, Marklund moved to the Supercar to drive a Volkswagen Polo, finishing seventh in points.
