Windsor Arch Ka I
Ka I () are a Macanese football club which currently competes in the Liga de Elite. History Founded in Taipa in 1985 under the name Associacão Desportiva Ka I, the club has seven titles to its name: three Liga de Elite titles and four Taça de Macau. They have been one of the best clubs in Macau since their debut in Liga de Elite in 2009. Led by Japanese midfielder Dan Ito, the club made their debut in Liga de Elite in 2009 season, where they managed to finish in second place in the standings, just behind Lam Pak, while winning their first trophy, Taça de Macau. It continued in 2010 season with a Cup-Championship double and in 2011 season the club became champion for the third consecutive year. Ka I 21–18 Hang Sai was a football match held on 16 June 2019 involving two teams in Macau. The fixture was part of the 2019 Taça de Macau. Players of both Ka I and Hang Sai decided to use the competitive match as a means of protest against the Macau Football Association for its role in the withdrawal of the Macau national team from the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Background The tie between Kai I and Hang Sai in the 2019 Taça de Macau was held on 16 June 2019 after the Macau Football Association (MFA) decided to withdraw its national team from the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Lin Fong Sports Centre is a sports complex co-existing with Macau Canidrome. The sports centre incorporated a sports field, swimming pools, and a gymnasium. The natural grass turf is used mostly for football matches. On 12 August 2017, Macau national football team played a friendly against Hong Kong Premier League club Kitchee S.C. at Lin Fong Sports Centre. Kitchee won the match 6–0.
