2019 Music Awards Ceremony
The 2019 Music Awards Ceremony (often simply called the MAC) is the first edition of the annual awards presented by Belgrade-based company, Sky Music to recognize achievements in the regional music industry of former Yugoslavia of the eligibility year, which ran from January 1, 2017, to August 30, 2018. The event, sponsored by Huawei, was held on 29 January 2019 at Štark Arena in Belgrade. The 2019 MAC was presented by Serbian musician Zvonimir Đukić, Croatian singer and presenter Ida Prester, and Bosnian presenter Aida Jokanović. Massimo Savić
Massimo Moreno Savić (6 June 1962 – 23 December 2022), also known simply as Massimo, was a Croatian pop singer. His father was a native of Tulež near Aranđelovac. His mother was Italian from Istria, a native of Raša near Labin. He first became popular in the 1980s with his band Dorian Gray, and then soon embarked on a successful solo career. He won five Porin awards for best male vocal performance, 2004–2007, and in 2012. In 2013, Massimo's thirty-year anniversary concert sold out the Pula Arena. It featured Vlado Kreslin, Neno Belan, and Nina Badrić as guests, and was also broadcast live by the Croatian Radiotelevision. He was one of the judges on the X Factor Adria (series 2), second series of ''X Factor Adria''. Anthony Cetinski (born 31 May 1969), known professionally as Tony Cetinski, is a Croatian pop singer. Today, he is one of the most popular male singers in Croatia and countries of former Yugoslavia. Biography Born into a family of musicians in Pula (then SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia), Cetinski began singing when he was 15 years old with various local groups. He moved from Rovinj to Zagreb in 1991 to start his career, and quickly became one of Croatia's leading pop stars. Stefan Đurić ( sr-cyr, Стефан Ђурић; born 16 November 1989), better known as Rasta ( sr-cyr, Раста), is a Serbian rapper and singer from Priština. He gained mainstream recognition with his singles "Kavasaki" (2014) and "Cavali" (2015), and is additionally known for popularizing the Auto-Tune pitch correction effect in the western Balkans and for often promoting marijuana in his songs. Bajaga i Instruktori (Serbian Cyrillic: Бајага и Инструктори; trans. ''Bajaga and the Instructors'') are a Serbian and Yugoslav rock band formed in Belgrade in 1984. Founded and led by vocalist, guitarist and principal composer and lyricist Momčilo Bajagić "Bajaga", the group is one of the most notable acts of the Yugoslav rock scene. Nataša Bekvalac ( sr-cyr, Наташа Беквалац, , born 25 September 1980) is a Serbian singer from Novi Sad. She made her recording debut in 2001 and has since collectively released five studio albums. Petar Grašo
Petar Grašo (born 19 March 1976) is a Croatian pop singer and songwriter. Born in Split to basketball player Zoran Grašo, he rose to prominence when Oliver Dragojević performed one of his first songs "Boginja" on the Dora contest in 1995. Since then, he has collaborated greatly with Dragojević, and has also worked with Doris Dragović, Danijela Martinović, Tonči Huljić, Goran Bregović, and Lepa Brena. Jelena Rozga (born 23 August 1977) is a Croatian pop, folk, and electropop singer. Born and raised in Split, Croatia, Rozga was a ballet dancer as a child.
