2019 Michigan Wolverines Baseball Team
The 2019 Michigan Wolverines baseball team represented the University of Michigan in the 2019 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Wolverines, led by head coach Erik Bakich in his seventh season, were a member of the Big Ten Conference and played their home games at Wilpon Baseball Complex in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Wolverines finished the season with a 50–22 record, including 16–7 in conference play, marking their first 50 win season since 1987. The Wolverines received an at-large bid to the 2019 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. They defeated Creighton in the regional finals and UCLA in the super regionals to advance to the College World Series for the first time since 1984. They became the first Big Ten Conference team to advance to the College World Series since Indiana in 2013, and the first Big Ten Conference team to advance to the championship round in the College World Series since Ohio State in 1966. Erik Bakich
Erik Michael Bakich (born November 27, 1977) is an American baseball coach and former left fielder, who is the current head baseball coach of the Clemson Tigers. Bakich played college baseball at San Jose City College (1997–1998) and East Carolina University for head coach Keith LeClair from 1999 to 2000. He served as the head coach of Maryland Terrapins (2010–2012) and the Michigan Wolverines (2013–2022). Early life Bakich attended Bellarmine College Preparatory, graduating in 1996. Bakich played baseball at East Carolina University in 1999 and 2000. He played as a left fielder with a 1.000 fielding percentage with 91 putouts, .315 batting average, 14 home runs, 85 RBIs, and 87 runs. Both years, the Pirates secured the Colonial Athletic Association championship and earned No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Regionals. Bakich was awarded all-conference honors in 2000.

The 1966 Ohio State Buckeyes baseball team represented Ohio State University in the 1966 NCAA University Division baseball season. Morgan Park High School is a 4–year public high school and middle school located in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the far south side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. Opened in 1916, Morgan Park is a part of the Chicago Public Schools district. Morgan Park is located at the intersection of 111th Street and Vincennes Avenue. Hudson is a city in St. Croix County, Wisconsin, United States. As of the 2010 United States census, its population was 12,719. Milton, Wisconsin
Milton is a city in Rock County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 5,716 at the 2020 census. History The city was formed as a result of the 1967 merger of the villages of Milton and Milton Junction. In November of that year, ballots were cast by 1,093 voters from both villages (Milton: 515 to 47 in favor of the merge; Milton Junction: 322 to 201 in favor of the merge), and the referendum to merge the two was approved by 77%. Originally named Prairie du Lac, Milton was settled in 1838 by Joseph Goodrich, who from Alfred, New York came with his family to the locality for religious and educational reasons. Westmont High School, or WHS, is a public four-year high school located in Westmont, a western suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Westmont Community Unit School District 201.
