2019 Fermanagh Senior Football Championship
The 2019 Fermanagh Senior Football Championship was the 113th edition of the Fermanagh GAA's premier club Gaelic football tournament for senior clubs in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. The tournament consists of eight teams, with the winner representing Fermanagh in the Ulster Senior Club Football Championship. The championship had a straight knock-out format. Derrygonnelly Harps were the four-time defending champions after defeating Ederney St Joseph's in the previous years final. Derrygonnelly successfully completed their five-in-a-row by beating Roslea Shamrocks by 0-10 to 1-3 in the final. Derrygonnelly () is a small village and townland in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. Enniskillen ( , from ga, Inis Ceithleann , 'Cethlenn, Ceithlenn's island') is the largest town in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It is in the middle of the county, between the Upper and Lower sections of Lough Erne. It had a population of 13,823 at the United Kingdom census, 2011, 2011 Census. Brewster Park (Enniskillen)
Brewster Park is a GAA stadium in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It is the home ground of the Enniskillen Gaels and the County ground of Fermanagh GAA. The ground was renovated in 2007 and now has a capacity of roughly 18,000. The ground was named for Mickey Brewster, a Fermanagh and Enniskillen Gaels player and father of Paul Brewster. In the first match played in Brewster Park since the renovations, Fermanagh defeated Monaghan in the first round of the Ulster Senior Football Championship on Sunday, May 26, 2008 by a score of 2–8 to 0–10. Teemore Shamrocks is a Gaelic football club based in the village of Teemore, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. They are the most successful club in the Fermanagh Senior Football Championship having won it 21 times. Tempo Maguires is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the village of Tempo, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. History The club was affiliated in 1929 and won its first championship by claiming the Fermanagh Junior title in 1949. Tempo won their first Fermanagh Senior Football Championship title in 1970 and followed this up with wins in 1972 and 1973. Erne Gaels, Belleek is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Belleek, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. History The club was founded in 1961. Erne Gaels won their first Fermanagh Senior Football Championship title in 1979, and followed this up by winning it again in 1981. The Belleek club's first appearance in a senior final since 1981 came in 2016, losing to Derrygonnelly Harps by a single point. Their most recent championship success was in the Intermediate grade, beating Devenish in the 2021 final.
