2019 FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup
The 2019 FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup was the fourth edition of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup. The games of the final tournament were held in Changsha, China between 24 May and 26 May 2019. Participating teams The FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup has a men's and women's tournament, each contested by twelve national teams. The teams were drawn into their groups as per their FIBA 3x3 Federation Ranking as of March 1, 2019. Nine teams for the men's team and ten teams for the women's team outright qualified for the final tournament while the remaining berths were contested in a qualification phase held from 22 to 23 May, 2019. Changsha
Changsha (; ; ; Changshanese pronunciation: (), Standard Mandarin pronunciation: ) is the capital and the largest city of Hunan Province of China. Changsha is the 17th most populous city in China with a population of over 10 million, and the third-most populous city in Central China, located in the lower reaches of Xiang River in northeastern Hunan. Hanna Zavecz (born 21 August 1985) is an Australian basketball player who has played for the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), Bendigo Spirit and Bulleen Boomers in the WNBL. She has also played university basketball in the United States for the University of Wyoming. Alice Kunek (born 6 January 1991) is an Australian-Irish professional basketball player for Sopron Basket, the current champions of the EuroLeague Women. Professional career WNBL Kunek began her WNBL career at the AIS alongside fellow up and coming players. She spent three seasons at the AIS, before moving signing with the Bulleen Boomers, where she played for three seasons. In her first season with the Boomers, she helped them take home their inaugural WNBL Championship, averaging 9.9 points per game.
