2019 FC Tobol Season
The 2019 FC Tobol season was the 21st successive season that the club played in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan. Tobol finished the season in 4th position, reached the Semifinals of the Kazakhstan Cup and were knocked out of the Europa League at the First Qualifying Round. Season Events On 31 December 2018, Vladimir Gazzayev was appointed as the club's new manager. Gazzayev resigned as manager on 21 July, after Tobol were eliminated from the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League by Jeunesse Esch. On 22 July, Nurbol Zhumaskaliyev was appointed as Caretaker manager of Tobol. New Contracts On 22 November 2018, Tobol signed new two-year contracts with Sultan Busurmanov, Sultan Abilgazy, Nika Kvekveskiri and Jaba Kankava. FC Tobol
FC Tobol ( kk, Тобыл футбол клубы, Tobyl Futbol Kluby) is a Kazakh professional football club based at the Central Stadium in Kostanay. They have been members of the Kazakhstan Premier League since its foundation in 1992. They won the Kazakhstan Premier League in 2010, and finished no lower than fourth place between the 2002 and 2010 seasons. In 2021 they won the title for the second time. History Following a surprise defeat to Kyzylzhar in the 2016 Kazakhstan Cup, manager Dmitriy Ogai left the club by mutual consent, with Oleg Lotov being appointed as interim manager on 30 April 2016. Vytautas Andriuškevičius (born 8 October 1990), commonly known as Vytas, is a retired Lithuanian footballer who played as a left back. He is now an assistant coach for the Portland Thorns FC of the American National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Playing career Club Andriuškevičius began his professional career in 2007 with FBK Kaunas in Lithuania. From 2007 to 2008, he was loaned to FBK Kaunas's second team to gain experience as a starter. FC Irtysh Pavlodar ( kk, Ертіс Футбол Клубы, ''Ertis Fýtbol Klýby'') was a Kazakh professional football club based at the Central Stadium in Pavlodar. Irtysh won the Kazakhstan Premier league in 1993 (as ''Ansat''), 1997, 1999, 2002 and 2003. Football Club Aktobe ( kk, Aqtóbe Fýtbol Klýby), commonly referred to as FC Aktobe or simply Aktobe, is a professional football club based in Aktobe.
