2019 Cruzeiro Esporte Clube Season
The 2019 season was the 98th in the Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's existence. Along with the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the club also competed in the Campeonato Mineiro, the Copa do Brasil and the Copa Libertadores. After a strong start to the season – which included a 21-game unbeaten streak, a solid performance in the Copa Libertadores group stage and a Campeonato Mineiro title over city rivals Atlético Mineiro –, Cruzeiro were largely appointed as major contenders for the 2019 national and international competitions titles. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube (), known simply as Cruzeiro, is a Brazilian sports club based in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Adilson Batista
Adilson Dias Batista (born 16 March 1968) is a Brazilian professional football coach and former player. His professional playing career as a centre-back spanned 13 years, during which he was mainly associated with Cruzeiro and Grêmio. Adilson also represented the Brazil national team in four occasions. Playing career Born in Adrianópolis, Paraná, he was known as Adilson during his playing days, and finished his formation with Atlético Paranaense. Promoted to the first-team in 1987 by head coach Levir Culpi, he was a regular starter before moving to Cruzeiro in 1989. 2019 Copa Libertadores Final Stages
The 2019 Copa Libertadores final stages were played from 23 July to 23 November 2019. A total of 16 teams competed in the final stages deciding the champions of the 2019 Copa Libertadores, with the final played in Lima, Peru at the Estadio Monumental. 2018 Cruzeiro Esporte Clube Season
The 2018 season was the 97th in the Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's existence. Along with the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the club also competed in the Campeonato Mineiro, the Copa do Brasil and the Copa Libertadores.
