2019 Cook Islands Round Cup
The 2019 Cook Islands Round Cup (also known as Vans Premiership due to sponsorship reasons) was the 46th recorded edition of the Cook Islands Round Cup, the top association football league of the Cook Islands organised by the Cook Islands Football Association. This season kicked off on 2 August 2019, and was competed by six teams from the island of Rarotonga in triple round-robin format. Tupapa Maraerenga won the league for the third straight year and qualified for the 2020 OFC Champions League, though they withdrew from that competition in the group stage. Nikao is a village settlement on Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. It is located on the north coast to the west of the capital Avarua. Nikao is the home of the Parliament of the Cook Islands, Tereora College (the oldest secondary school), Nikao's modern Cook Islands Christian Church, the Rarotonga International Airport and the first division football team Nikao Sokattak F.C. Originally, Nikao consisted of three tapere or settlements (Rangiura, Turamatuitui and Pokoinu). Most of the people of Pokoinu lived near the sea, but after extensions were made to the airport, the people were moved inland towards the mountain. Today they call that new tapere, "Tepuka". 2020 OFC Champions League
The 2020 OFC Champions League was the 19th edition of the Oceanian Club Championship, Oceania's premier club football tournament organized by the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC), and the 14th season under the current OFC Champions League name.
